I liked Jill's wreath, except for the blue in it so won't be getting it. I am still debating on Valerie's ceramic lantern.

Anyone find anything in either show to buy?

I agree the ceramic lantern is very pretty! I would love to buy that but I am just watching today, trying not to purchase! I have a similar lantern by Valerie with the bird on the top, I love it! Good luck and happy shopping

I just saw a closeup and I don't like the texture of it at all. I like the Valerie/Pier1 bunny better. I've been watching today, but hoping not to order anything.

Yesterday I started cleaning out all Christmas and fall decorations out of the top of a long closet, and I'm attempting to re-box and condense, then label each new container. It is helping me keep things in perspective as far as purchasing decor today, so far at least. :-)

@SHOPR I can relate to that. By the time I get Christmas put away, takes a long time, I can't even think about the next Christmas and dealing with removing things from storage. This coming Christmas, I am going to make displays that don't cause me to have to do this as, for instance, the kitchen table display will be Charming Tails this year, and they are in drawers, so easy to remove, and simplifying more this year, as too many other issues to deal with during the year, and need more time, so less for decorating.

I haven't ordered the new ceramic hurricane/lantern. I could place one or more in flower bed areas or on steps or brick paths, but I can find no place inside that I could use one, without removing some other lantern, etc. I think they're nicely done, though.

@BornToShop I'm hopeless at talking people out of buying. Those are substantial pieces in size. I have no idea if the price is reasonable compared with what is available in the marketplace, though.

@BornToShop, I think the fish and turtle are adorable, and no batteries required is a good argument.

The only voice of reason I can offer you is that I have poor luck with resin items outdoors. Anything resin I've ever used outdoors fades after a year. That's my only caution.

Though I watched very little of either show, because I didn't know they were on and only tuned in when I logged in here, my eye caught the large mosaic egg which sits on a small pedestal and has a little remote with color buttons on it, so one can either choose one color to diffuse up through the egg or a succession of colors.

This was a purchase made specifically for my 3-1/2 year old granddaughter, as I know she'll love having controll over the colors. We'll be keeping the egg out until probably Memorial Day, so she can enjoy it. I know if I put it away directly after Easter, she'll be asking after it constantly until it's back on the console table. LOL!

@SHOPR @Marsha2003 Valerie just said the handle is removable, bingo, I bought the ivory/cream. Also, it can be used as a vase by inserting a vase inside, and I like this idea.

I would buy that peony wreath, except that I bought one from another vendor last year. I think that's a great price for a 24" wreath.
