I bought the 5 ft pre-lit tree from QVC last year. It comes in parts. It says 5 ft but it measures smaller (I think it might work for you).

See if you can find out the real measurement of it. I'm 5'4" and it comes up to my ear (or less).

It's a little heavy but I manage it (I'm 69) and didn't want anything big. I liked it so much (it's just me and 2 cats here) I didn't put any balls or anything on it.

Just think and look into it. I hope it helps you. Annabelle

Has anyone found or purchased a small (perhaps 2 and not more than 3 ft) Christmas tree?

I've been in the market for one for a few years and find that the small ones have all sorts of faults. Faults such as the wire is visible, or the flocking is too heavy, or the branches are too thin (or too thick), or the tree seems expensive for what it is. I'm looking online as well as in my local stores.

I almost bought the recent ED on Air small tree, but it was extremely skimpy for the price. Some of the ones that seem OK on amazon have poor reviews. Some other I like in higher-priced catalogs are just that, higher-priced.

Oh, well, someday my prince/tree will come.

I can wait for just the right one since I do have a small "tinsel" tree that has served me well for a few years now.

Believe it or not, I've found some pretty nice small trees at Walgreens. It was a few years back. I bought 2 prelit trees in urns for my front porch but when I took them out of the box and realized how nice they were, I used them inside. I've also bought regular small trees there.

My aunt downsized to a really nice small tree and I couldn't believe it was from Walgreens.

I've not ever searched for one that size; however, last year I went on the hunt for a "slim" prelit tree. I saw lots of them at Lowes, WalMart, and Big Lots. I didn't want to spend a lot because we already have a tree and it seemed silly to purchase another, but......I did.

Hi Homegirl,

I got one 2.5 and one 3 foot prelit Christmas trees a few years ago, that I really liked, one was battery powered and the other one is a plug in. I was actually looking to get one or two more, but the place I originally ordered them from does not seem to carry them anymore. So I have been on the look out too and I just came across a place that has a really nice variety and their prices are less than what I paid a few years ago. I have never ordered from them, but probably will, they have all kinds of interesting items. They are called Christmas Central and if you look under Pre-Lit Artificial trees, they have 2 feet and under and also 3 - 3.5 feet trees to choose from. Maybe they will have that special tree for you too, good luck.

tkins

Hi! I had the same problem. .. So I stacked a couple of crates and covered them with a piece of velvet fabric to go with my Victorian Christmas decor. Depending on if you have a slim or cubby tree..use a stable bottom ... Stools are good for slim trees...you can use a Christmas tablecloth...fabric .....or loose pillow stuffing to resemble snow.. Just an idea that worked out for me.

I have been browsing small trees and found this one by BL H206438, sorry I could not copy a picture, that is a pre-lit tree 4' already in an urn and it is also flocked! Only left with white lights, which I love anyway! It is plug in, wish it was battery, but it's not really a problem!

When we moved to San Diego, we had one 8' and one 7' tree, both of which were way too big for our tiny apartment. I ended up at Target with a 3' pre-lit tree and placed it on the coffee table. This year we will pass this little tree onto our 2 year old granddaughter, so she can have the tree at our house with her own brand new ornaments.

I'm sure you'll have luck finding one. My advice would be to get out now and purchase one, because they go fast!

Going through a store yesterday, my eye caught what appeared to be a box showing Charlie Brown and his Christmas tree. I kept going, for fear I might be weak. I just wanted to mention this, in case someone else is looking for something along those lines.

@simpson1954 I like the crate idea and had actually bought a used apple crate from a local farm; their name is stencilled on the side. Turns out though I would need three more to fit my tree stand - a 19" x 19" tabletop would be ideal. I guess I could do that, but I'm not sure how stable four crates side-by-side-by-side would be. I'd also have to be careful that the crates were all the same size - have noticed they vary.
