Home Decorators dot com has their bell jars/cloche on sale right now with free shipping. The petite size, which is what I use, is $12.00 and is 7 1/2 tall and 5" diameter. They also have sm., med., and lg., but the petite is perfect for me. I just ordered another one to do another scene. Last year I bought one of the small light up house ornaments from Joann's and it fit perfectly under the cloche. The cloche fit perfectly on a bread plate from my dishes. Voila, I had a darling scene under glass for less than $20.00!

It's fun to create these, isn't it? Then change them up.

The glass on these is thick, good quality. Well worth the price + free shipping. Win Win

I thought about buying Valerie's for the base, mirror & dome, not necessarily for the scene inside.

I love that idea! I've been looking for Christmas projects that I could do and this seems perfect. I think I can even put together a couple of them from Thanksgiving. Thanks a bunch!
