What look like bowling shoes???? I tell ya if I wasn't crazy for christmas stuff I would not even be watching but for now it's tne only show in town till qvc puts another show host , prefrablly Alberti who would be fabulous with a show . Jill just announced she will be on every Friday starting in October. That is the same schedule that Lisa had. How I miss her christmas shows!!! Jill is just too manic, and the patting on the back drives me nuts! Jmo

I like Jill and her sense of style so I'll watch, but I've decided to stop purchasing from QVC because of their hypocritical stance on the whole matter of CHRISTmas.

I think her knee is hurting. As a wife of a double knee replacement, I wonder if the second knee is ready or...can't remember which one was replaced. She is adorable...as a KU Jayhawk....I still like my MU grads😉

I enjoy watching "You're Home with Jill", she always makes me feel like I'm sitting in the room with her enjoying many of the items.

I think Jill does a great job on the home shows. I assumed her feet had been hurting, when I saw the shoes.

@Kitty Galore: I am not going to make a negative comment about your post. I really dislike posters who do that. I will just guess that Jill has problems with her foot (or feet), knees(s) or hip(s) and must stand for hours in spite of it.

I like Jill and most of her presentations but I agree she makes me chuckle with all that praise of herself & design skills. I'm pretty sure Valerie is the real design star at QVC in my opinion. I think she does a great job though putting things together and her presentation.

I agree with you @Kitty GaloreAlberti would be wonderful hosting a home decor or Christmas show. We can hope...

I think Jill is an excellent host, and her shoes are totally irrelevant.

She will have knee problems for the rest of her life, and I'm glad she wears shoes that are comfortable regardless of looks.

Watching some of these women hobbling around on ugly, spike heels is nuts to me.

And no, I personally never miss Lisa and her overdone Christmas shows.

Shoes aside, which aren't an issue for me one way or the other, I'm not a fan of Jill and agree it's time for QVC to spread it around. Alberti would be great hosting the decor shows, as would others be. There is absolutely no reason to continue having Jill be the sole host of these kinds of shows. If "Corporate" is looking for ways to increase their bottom line, maybe breaking out of the same stale mold is worthy of consideration. I also agree that her tendency to self-promote and to get a bit manic are turn-offs. With her as host, I didn't watch them last year and don't plan to watch them this year.

I don't enjoy Jill's shows so I don't watch them. I can't stand to hear her tooting her own horn every chance she gets. I'm sorry to hear that she's doing the Christmas shows. But, on the positive side it will save me money.

She sat through the entire presentation of the furniture covers, which is unusual. I think her knees are hurting. That cannot be easy or fun.

i agree that Alberti would be a logical choice for a decor show. But the fact that it so obvious to many of us makes me wonder if he is happy with the night shift and because those decor shows are usually during the day or evening, not in the middle of the night, he is not interested.

I don't mind the shows hosted by Jill; but for most of them, I simply look at what is presented online. I do like her recipes. Rotating the hosts for the Christmas shows is an excellent idea. I would enjoy seeing Alberti and Gabrielle hosting at least one edition.

I have super cute bowling shoes and if it didn't ruin them for bowling, I would absolutely wear them other places.

Because she obviously likes them. Knee problem or not - the woman can wear whatever shoes she wants. It is a Christmas show not a fashion show.

And, as far as hosting Christmas shows. Some women like her. Some women liked Lisa. Different ladies, different decor.

They look like comfort shoes....if your feet or knees hurt you will wear whatever feels comfortable ....especially if you have to be on your feet...

Like her... don't like her... For me, this really isn't the issue so much as the fact that QVC could, and in my view, should, offer different experiences for different viewers... There truly is no law of nature that ALL home decor programming, seasonal or othewise, MUST be hosted by Jill... They need not ALL be hosted by Alberti either... or by any one host. Spread it around, for heaven's sake, offering viewers a choice, particularly since the merchandise itself often tends to be repetitive.

@stevieb I totally agree. I will not be watching the Christmas shows because I have tried to watch Jill but just can't deal with her attitude. So, if they would give us some different hosts for the holiday shows I would watch and no doubt buy but I'm shopping locally this year. QVC should listen to it's customers and try to find a middle ground so there's shows for everyone at some point.
