@chessygal Thank you for posting. Absolutely beautiful. I miss my Mom so much. There are so many things I want to thank her for that I never said when she was here. At times I feel so guilty. Anyone else feel like that?

Next month it will be five years since my mother passed.

I miss her and know that my younger siblings do as well. I know her grandchildren do also as one of her grandsons said to me the other day that he misses her but feels blessed because she was able to attend an event of his just shortly before she went to be with his papa (his grandfather--my dad).

I texted my two sisters who are both mothers that I hope it is a good day for them. Though not a mother, myself (due to health reasons), they both stated a nice response about how I helped them and their children.

Mother's Day was hard. I miss my Mother so much each and every day. I think of her and all of the wonderful qualities she had. I can't hold a candle to her. I have regrets thinking back that I didn't spend as much time with her that I should have. I guess a lot of us feel that way. Time goes by so quickly and I know I often took her for granted. You get so busy in your every day life and you sometimes just don't think that someday your Mother will be gone. I know without a doubt that she is in a better place and I know that I will see her again.
