I love Peeps. I bought two packs of yellow bunnies and two of the pink chicks to have for this Easter weekend. I only allow myself this indulgence at Easter. I'm pretty sure Peeps have zero nutritional value, if not being just plain toxic, but I do not resist. Sugar coated marshmallows: they should be sold with insulin...

I think that dress is sacrilege. Peeps are meant to be opened and eaten in one sitting. Sartorial splendor does not fulfill their purpose.

@gizmogal I know a lot of people don't like Peeps but I love them! I purchased a small package of bunnies dipped in chocolate! So yummy! So Bad!

I love Kym Douglas! She's a total goofball and always has something funny to promote or wear or demonstrate. I'm guessing this dress has some extra cushioning that might help to make up for the inevitable gooeyness.

If anyone has a subscription to The Washington Post, yesterday they published the winners of their Peeps Diorama contest. There are some very creative candy-coated minds out there! I can't include a copy of the winning display because it has a political theme; all I can say is that it was clearly a shoe-in (Florsheim style).

@Bookplate - I tried looking at the pictures (I didn't even know there was any such contest), but you have to subscribe to the WP to see them.

I'm not subscribing just for that.

I did find out there are Peeps Diorama contests everywhere! I must've been living under a rock.

My favorite Peeps pastime is to look up Peeps dioramas.

Contests are held all over the country and for over a decade.

If you like this kind of humor there are tons of images online to go down that rabbit hole pun intended).

Some really crack me up. Ive kept this one on file. This was back long ago when the miners in Chile had a collapse and it took days and days to extract them. Sent to me by a coworker at the time lol

Whoever thinks up and makes these kinds of things, I want them in my life lol.

@LizzieInSRQ That Peeps diorama is incredible 😀🙌🏆💯! Kitschy, cute, fun and a great depiction of that event! I love the colorful Peeps crowd of onlookers, the little construction hats on the peeps, the mini Chilean flags, and the details of the mine. I'm tempted to print this onto a coffee mug at the Walgreens Photo lab 😄.
