Ok, it's too late for Valentine's Day, but what a nifty set.

Especially if you like to give candy at Easter, and want perhaps a more versatile container for it.

If you are planning on using one of the 20 or 25% coupons out there, even better deal!

As the presenters pointed out, they are reminiscent of vintage pattern glass that you might have thrifted. But, they also said that these are food-safe, which some of the old ones may not be. Candies don't have to only be of the wrapped variety-- they can go in, as is.

One thing to point out-- just like much vintage pressed glass, this has a seam. To me, it looks like it runs around the knob handle. But in some shots, it looks like they've made a feature of it--it's slightly raised, and the ridge could be almost decorative.

Since I have several old pressed glass pieces, seams don't bother me, but if they do you, it's good to know.

Reviews have mentioned how sturdy and charming the little candy dishes are. I have a weakness for all things heart-shaped, and we don't have a food-safe candy dish, so-- I ordered! The extra one will be a gift, filled to the brim with black licorice, or maybe little chocolate eggs...

I bought them - they're beautiful - very nice quality - heavy. I have a lot of inherited cut and pressed antique glassware so I know quality.

I'm using one for my heart earrings - have it on my bedroom dresser. I had chocolate heart candy in the other one.

I love my colored Fenton heart version. A small green one holds my most reached-for earrings. The large pink one is tucked away right now:/

It reminds me of when I was watching an HSN video of Wolfgang Puck. He was showing some silicone cookware. The hard red/while peppermint candies were lused to line one of his offerings, then baked in the oven.

After the silicone was removed, he had a candy dish made out of candies. Then he delightfully smashed the entire thing on the counter. He was having the most fun doing it.
