LUSH FALL DECORATING

Katherine of "Pender and Peony" has a very abundant style, using her collections that she's put together over time. She has a working background in art museums.

Here are various fall looks she's done--

This mantel of hers is probably my favorite, with the sprays of bright berries, pumpkins and autumnal bouquet with peacock feathers. Look at that yummy tall Famille Rose or Rose Medallion vase on the left at the edge of the hearth (I always get those two confused):

Love the slim orange ribbons on the candlesticks--

Of course, part of the appeal for me is the sage green Wedgwood jasperware bowl. I put out my few green Wedgwood pieces in the fall too--

Her brass and glass cart continues the fall theme with more sage-y green Wedgwood, Rose Medallion, and a whimsical feathered bouquet--

Here's her sideboard. The little yellow pumpkins are Fitz and Floyd --

A lot of her fall decorating relies on shocking pink and orange-- colors related to her collection of Rose Medallion china. Look at that fabulous Rose Medallion and ormolu bowl! The pinky orange candle and bows on the topiary are the perfect touch!

Love the fall table she did, with exquisite embroidered runner--

So festive. Her hammered copper chargers gleam. I like her casual mix of metals-- less 'formal'.

The salad plates by Royal Tettau have an appropriate fall acorn and oak leaf motif. I was immediately taken with her unusual amber glass goblets--

They are vintage Carlo Moretti glassware, with an intricate 3 layer "cased glass" construction. Buttery and autumnal.

Katherine’s style at Pender & Peony is romantic and ornate, but it’s not for me. I prefer a more minimal look, spaces that feel calm and uncluttered. I also lean toward traditional fall colors like rust, gold, and deep green, not pastels. Her aesthetic feels more curated, and that’s just not my vibe.

I like the way she decorated the mantel and bar cart. The Staffordshire dogs are my favorite pieces.

Back in the seventies, Avon used to sell wedgewood pieces and those vases and urns remind me of that.

Love everything on and next to the mantle. That mantle is just beautiful...

If I could have my choice of anything on display, it would be the amazing vase you mentioned.

The flowers are very pretty. I like the pumpkins and the Staffordshire dogs.

It doesn't look like what I think of for fall though. It looks more like spring or summer to me and also a bit too cluttered.

Still, as always, I enjoyed looking at it all. It is also interesting to read others comments.

Everything is so pretty and fresh looking. This is the way to add Fall colors to a more white/neutral pallet, I think.

I Love the Orange Berry picks on the mantel, they just seem alive with movement. Kind of like when I see the upright sprays of Pampas grass in the Fall, it's like they are alive and excitingly announcing the coming of Fall (I know cheesy, haha).

The colors, arrangements, Wedgewood, dogs, china and glassware are all beautiful.

Those little glass mushroom vases on the table are adorable!

Love it!

@GingerHead , as always, I enjoy your singular reactions and love your take on the branches! They do herald something exciting. I would have guessed you'd notice those delicate, whimsical mushrooms for their forest-y romance....

I love the mantel- gorgeous! The table runner is my second favorite- unusual and lovely; it's "fall" without screaming "fall." Thank you, @Oznell. You find the most beautiful and interesting things!

Just gorgeous---I LOVE all the pics. I finally dressed up my mantle for halloween/fall---I have lots/LOTS of things on it. I like a messy involved type of decorating there. If I could figure out how---I'd post my arrangement here.🎃👻
