Cleaning Kestenberg "denim" bags

Has anyone figured out how to do this? Mine is showing some dirt on the bottom.

I have one of those bags but since I've never used it, never needed to clean it. I think I'd try a mild soap and warm water solution and rub gently, not over-wetting it. You could call Amy Kestenberg's online store and ask them what they'd recommend.

I was thinking of using the cleaner they sell you for Coach bags - since it is leather.

Her "Denim" bags are supposed to be leather so try cleaning it with a good leather cleaner and then moisturize with a good leather moisturizer. I don't own one (yet) but I love the look of her Denim leather!

The denim leather bags have a texture to them which would make me hesitate to use a leather cleaner or moisturiser. I can see them absorbing the oils in these cleaners and becoming blotchy looking. It would be almost like oiling suede.

Agree!!! I think they would be ruined!!!

That would be great, thank you. I want to own one of her denim leather bags and I didn't realize that the texture is different enough to warrant taking the time to determine how to care of it...

Last year I emailed Aimee’s company about how to clean her leather bags. I had a bag that had several different colors . It had gotten soiled from normal use.

The response I got was not to use any leather cleaner or soap. I was told to rub gently with a colorfast cloth & warm water.It didn’t work. They ended up asking me to pick a bag off of the website.They sent me a postage paid label to return my bag to them.They sent me the brand new bag once UPS notified them that they received my package.

I was extremely impressed by the level of customer service!!

I tried just wettibg a rag - wringing it as dry as possible then wiping it and that worked pretty well.
