Zora Tote= Dooney Barlow?

I just happened to see the Nine West offerings on the Q site and they feature the Zora tote.

Now is it me, or doesn't the Nine West tote look like a Dooney Barlow tote?

Just surprised to see Nine West creating a Dooney knockoff.

I'm saying "Dooney" knockoff, because I don't know the original bag that inspired Peter Dooney.

This would be great for the 17 year old who fell in love with my Barlow satchel.

@JavaQueen I love the Heritage Blue color! This would be a good way to try the silhouette if you don't want to spend a lot to see if you like it.

The Dooney Barlow and all its iterations is a true work of art, imo. The one issue that came up was the version that also had two zip pockets in the front as apparently it covered the Dooney signature as it folded in on itself. I almost bought one because was always a fan of those front zip pockets and sorry to have read that it was a poor design. You'll notice it's no longer sold. If someone could help me with its name I'd appreciate it, thanks.

I think you are referring to the Dawson. That version had the zipper pockets in front.

Not the a fan of low-cost knockoffs. I go for quality! But different strokes...!
