Question About Recent Kipling Handbag TSV - Felicity!!

I just received this bag today in the rose gold.It did not come in a box nor was it stuffed with paper as handbags usually are.It came flat in a plastic QVC bag.It was folded in half.

When I opened it up the bag had several deep creases as a result of being folded.The bag itself is well made & a beautiful color.How do I get the deep creases out? I hate to have to send it back as damaged because of the way it was shipped!!

I would appreciate any advice & suggestions.Thank you!!

I wonder if you could try a steam iron or put it in the dryer for a few minutes?

And if that doesn't work I would call QVC and ask them to send one in a box and properly packed!

I was not impressed with this line of bags .. I really don’t know what all the fuss over them was about ... they reminded me of really cheap bags that you can find in WM..... I would send the bag back & get a refund!!!! 😫

Lug bags come the same way. Just folded in a plastic bag. I've never had a problem with them having creases but they are a bit heavier than the Kipling. Maybe the creases will come out once you put stuff in them.

I would send it back with a note, besides calling customer service for one that has no creases and is properly packed. Maybe you received a return item! Good luck, keep us posted.

Wow, that would annoy me, for $80, they could pack it so it isn’t creased! I was very tempted to get one too. If you do return it due Kiplings poor packaging, I’d call Q to get my original shipping fee returned also, because they KEEP that fee! Hope it works out and you love it, 💝

This does not surprise me as the shipping seemed to be less expensive than usual. Was it $5 to ship it? That usually means "plastic bag."

The creases always come out. I have a Kipling store near me and have purchased a bunch of their bags and the crease always come out. The store, stores them just like you got it. When you buy in their store, you never get the one off the shelf, they go to the back and bring out a folded one. They are awesome bags and will last you forever. Enjoy Put a rolled up towel in it, when storing.

@SFGIANTSGIRL Thank you.I actually did that last night.I put rolled up towels inside & hung it on a hook.Hopefully, the creases will come out.Otherwise, I will be returning it as defective.

If this is really how Kipling stores them then I’m really disappointed .When you sell a nylon bag for $80 you owe the customer a better presentation.I shouldn’t have to work so hard to get it to look like it was shown on air!! I paid for a first quality bag!!

I had the same experience: picked a bag from the display and took it to the register to pay. The clerk went in the back and got me another one, folded flat and in a plastic bag. I can’t imagine the expense of shipping all these bags stuffed full of paper like we get them at the department store. They won’t do it.

It's nylon - can't you just toss it in the dryer - low heat with a damp washcloth to steam out the wrinkles? It only takes about 5 min.

I've purchased a few at a Kipling retail store here in town, it's not an outlet store and they come folded in a plastic bag. I hang them on something and if any creases don't come out in a day or two, I steam them out. I don't know if the rose gold coating would be a problem steaming, but the nylon ones steam out just fine. You might want to clal qvc or kipling just to be sure. I love Kipling.

Excellent point regarding Louis Vuitton! I think some would have a heart attack seeing LVs coming from "the back".....

Got my Rose Gold today and have it stuffed with rolled towels and hung up by the straps. I'm also planning to steam the wrinkles slightly with my iron set on low with a wet (thin cotton) cheeze cloth. If you try this please be careful.....

Wow, so LV bags costing well over $1000 are packaged and shipped in same way as a Kipling , $70.... ? Wow, I didn’t know that.

Louis Vuitton are very carefully packaged in box lots, but they are "folded" flat for shipping in order to ship many of them in the least space. Especially interesting are the Speedys (looks like a doctor's bag). I purchased a limited edition Cerises (little Cherry faces) Speedy 25 and once I had it fully set up (with the piping "rolled out") I never folded it down again. But the reference to it being packaged like a Kipling is only referring to the handbag being folded down, and the "folding" is very unique to the style....

I didn't get the TSV, but rather another. It came folded flat in a plastic bag. I filled it right away and all wrinkling worked its way out the first day. Love it btw. Very happy in spite of the price being a little high for nylon.

My bags take a beating anyway that's why I'm a kipling fan...retail tag on the TSV bags I got said 119$ so for a Kipling IMO the TSV was a pretty good deal even with shipping.

The abuse my Kiplings take is unbelievable and they hold up.
