I have to admit, I'm not big on New Years... It's always seemed sort of anticlimactic and like an artificial reason to party and/or 'start fresh'... Let's face it, the difference between 12/31 and 1/1 is pretty much the turn of a page on a new calendar... And any new day, week or month is equally as good an opportunity to revamp whatever it is that we, as individuals, feel needs revamping... Still, for those who find it meaningful in some way, Happy New Year to you...

As for me, I had no intention of braving the windy cold last night. It was a good night for a pot of pasta, a bottle of prosecco and some good company...

Happy shopping, whether it be for handbags, shoes, makeup or all of the above... I hope this year to finally score the Mark and Graham satchel, maybe in orange or maybe in green... But I also hope to retain some equilibrium... Perhaps a worthy resolution for some of you... Ahem... But let's not name names... You know who you are...

Oh yea, and him... I hope to finally score him this year too...

FYI Ladies: I Love dooney site has the Tuscana Satchel on sale for 199!!! Talk about a cheap price. I have this bag in the expresso and it's the best dooney I ever ordered. Thinking of ordering another one. Problem is not sure what color I want. I'm leaning towards the red or the Bordaux. (sp)

I know you were leaning toward red, but I think between the two options, I might opt for the more burgundy version. Then again, Dooney red is usually very pretty... Let us know what you decide!

I think you all know I have the orYANY Janessa in Black and I love it. I know @Serendipity has it in Black and Oat and it's one of her favorites, too.

The orYANY Evelyn is a similar but smaller version of Janessa. I saw that Evelyn is on clearance and EZ pays...it's a nice, medium-sized bag...and highly rated. I ordered it in Oceania Blue and the people who have received it love it and say it goes perfectly with denim.

@stevieb Happy New Year to you and everybody here. Don't worry about including me in the notification, I don't post much on here because I haven't really been purchasing alot of bags lately. Not a problem. Just hope everybody has a good year full of health and happiness. Let's hope this year will be better then last year.

As for the bag on sale. I came to my senses, lol I really don't need it. I do have to say that bag is on the top of all bags that dooney has ever made. It's a fabulous handbag in every way. This year I'm going to control my spending. I really don't need another bag, clothes, especially jewelry. I haven't even watched a jewelry show in months. I do have to say I did order the fake engagement ring that the Q has on advanced orders. The one that Harry gave Meghan. I think it's the prettiest engagement ring I've seen in ages. It's not over the top and the style of it it gorgeous. I'm so looking forward to getting that It was dirt cheap at 44 bucks I think it was.

Hope you're keeping warm. I dread walking outside in the morning to go back to work. After having 5 days off I'm ready to get back into the grind once again. Have a fabulous week and be safe. I do agree if I did get that bag again the burgundy would have been the color I'd choose.

@EdithEllenLily Cute bag. Stupid Q, though... The 'as is' version is actually considerably more expensive than the ostensibly new bag at a 'clearance' price.

I've carried a torch for those bags for several years now. So long, in fact, that they've retired several colors. I probably should've gotten one of them when they were at a reduced price, but didn't. I really like the bag but it's a bit rich, so I have to consder it very carefully. I don't think they ever put it on sale. @jaxs mom
