Over the last several years I've developed a collection of these bags, and have noticed that in that same time span, each of these two lines has incorporated fewer and fewer zippers into their various lines of larger bags.

II'm assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that fewer zippers mean cheaper production costs greater profits for manufacturers and less convenience/functionality for me, the consumer.

SO- is anyone using a bag from either of these two lines that has MULTIPLE ZIPPERS?

(I need at least three zippers for cash-key fob-driver's license).

@violann- I'm going to kind of veer off a little here. I've had bags from both lines. I don't think mine had many zippers. I don't have any bags from those lines now.

But.....if you're looking for zippered compartments and would be ok with branching out, take a look at the Kipling Alvar. I'm new to Kipling and carried the Alvar all last week and loved it. Lightweight, cross body (can also be used as a shoulder bag) and zippers galore. There is a smaller version, but I have the larger version.

I bought one at Macy's online on sale, bought another from Kipling online (on sale) and just ordered another from them, also on a great sale. And I got one from eBay also.

I love my Brahmin and Hobo International bags and a few Koobas, but this Kipling Alvar has risen right to the top with them.

Vera Bradley still has their triple zip hipster. I believe they are $49 on QVC. I have 2 - love them. Nice medium size bag.
