Red interiors on Dooney

Does anybody else not like the red interior that is on most Dooney bags? I keep watching their shows cause I really want to find a bag I love. Have seen a few but they all have the red interior. I don't want the interior to clash with the color of the bag. Like the calipso and new key lime but the red interior ruins them for me. Does anyone else have this issue or is it just me. I am really fussy about handbags, I like zippers and different compartments.

@KoalaLady I am a long time Dooney fan and I really dislike those red interiors. Why not a cream or beige ?? My most recent is the Chevron tote and it has the dreaded red inside. However, it is super lightweight and I like it for every day.

I happen to really like the red interiors, but there are others available on either day. My current favorite lines are the Cambridge line and the to Toscana Florentine line, each of which has leather interiors. You might want to check those out.

@libbyannE I did notice the Cambridge line over at ILoveDooney. Much nicer, but weighs over 2 lbs. (too heavy for me). Too bad, I love that purple combo

I absolutely love ❤️ the red lining !!! You can see everything inside with the red lining. There are many bags that don't have red lining, otherwise you will have to go with a different manufacturer, but you won't find a bag that is made as well as Dooney.

Some of the bags have a french blue lining. The daffodyl bagsmi bought last year have the blue lining. But most Doonies seem to have the red lining.

Better the red than some of the options they've offered. The best I've seen on the more reasonably priced bags from their line are the finely woven interiors in either black and white or beige and white. The red/pink and white woven that 'played' pink was a total deal breaker for me when I was still perusing Dooney.

I love the red interiors. I enjoyed the pink dot interiors. I LOVED the old interiors where the "other side" of the thick leather was the interior of the bag (I have saved mine and I have several).... and I adore the tan leather interiors on the Florentine bags....!

With the exception of OrYani's Lime Green Moroccan tile interior lining (which I have a deep adversion to).... I like most linings....

I think that the red interior is too harsh and it seems to clash with some of the colors of leather on the outside. I personally like the pink check. It's alot easier to look at and doesn't seem as gaudy as the red interior.

I agree with steviib, I hate the pink lining, love the red lining but the best is the neutral tan lining. There is nothing worse than the green Moroccan lining on the Oranny bags.

The red interiors are their signature color as are the ducks. You can tell if it is authentic by the red interior or ducks (they don't all have the ducks), and registration card inside pocket. There are a lot of counterfeit Dooney and Bourke bags out there and regretfully I have fallen for various fakes. When I buy one now I go straight to their website. OVC is a reputable company so I am positive theirs are legit.

Wish Patricia Nash would drop those 'map linings' I don't like them or the exterior leather either who wants to walk around carrying a map bag. Tired of her brown suede linings too and the standard 1 zip pocket and 2 slip pockets.

She's in a rut.

I love the color cream and ivory and I dislike black interiors. However if you have a light colored interior it will show wear and tear not to mention ink marks as I always carry pens on me.
