I am willing to bet he would lose quite a bit of business if he did that. There are many purses designed for that purpose as well as pouches you can add to your purse. I know; I own them.

I ran into a bunch of bags for guns accidently when I was looking for something else on Amazon. Carrying a firearm would soon ruin most bags because of the weight. My DH was a deputy sheriff and he asked me to put his pistol in my handbag one night when we were out. Wow, that thing was HEAVY. I told him he could carry the handbag if he wanted the pistol in it.

Why couldn't he carry it?

The handbags I find for conceal carry are OK. But I would rather have a Dooney.

My pistol is not huge or heavy, it fits in my Small Lexington nicely but I have to remove it to use it. Which of course I hope I never have to do.

I have found the canceal and carry bags are ether western or large and clunky. I'd love a feminime handbag that doesn't look like I am carring. I have a Tig. bag with a zipper on the side I thought would be good for slipping your hand in, but it wasn't secure enough. I think someone is missing out on a good product.

Not Mary Beth or Jane, but I could see some of the younger ones being able to carry it off, and just use a water pistol for demo. If I ever feel the need to carry (I do have a permit) it's in the back of my waistband with a loose jacket over it, and no I'm not a cop!!! LOL. I also have a small Coach crossbody that doesn't show under a looser jacket. You just have to have a lot of common sense. When the open carry law went into law in TN, all ladies handbags would get searched at the door, and everyone would get frisked, females by a female deputy, males by a male deputy, when going into a bar or club. They didn't want firearms in a club that serves alcohol, and somebody might get crazy. If anybody was found with one, they were escorted to their car, and watched while they locked it in the trunk. The security kept their keys until they were leaving.

P.S. Many women stopped carrying handbags, and just carried some cash and cell phone in a pocket.

I started to make a comment on here about having a crossbody C**** and the screen went blank immediately, but it works nicely under a loose jacket and jeans. The QVC censors must have been watching. Let's see if this one stays up!!
