I like Travelon bags but I wish they would come out with bags that are a little more fashion-forward. I appreciate the organization they have and love that they even have the new RFID protection. However, aside from the one bag I bought with the quilted front (which I love), I haven't seen any styles that are really cute. And while they are at it I would love some styles with shorter straps. I don't wear crossbody bags and most of the straps are too long for me as I'm on the shorter side. Hopefully someone at Travelon will see this.

I like Travelon bags too. I think they are having a TSV next week (per the July Insider). Maybe they will offer some more new styles then in addition to the TSV. I do like the cross body but it would be nice to have a variety.

I think that the best travelon they offer is the Theft/RFID. Both of these features together is the best for travel. I mean what good is the RFID if someone can come along with a knife an slit the bottom of your bag so all your possessions fall on the sidewalk? Anyway, I do like them, think they should up their styling and even the quality. The backpack they had (not theft) had some problems, like mag snaps popping open on the front flaps. My biggest issue is that both the straps on the bags I have WILL NOT STAY where I want them in length~! The slide moves~! Very VERY irritating when you adjust it for you and it slowly drags down to the length of the strap!! Even a standard buckle with holes would work better.....

And yes, more stylish styles...

Every Travelon bag I have ever had has a band of fabric on the strap to hold it so it does not slip. If I remove that band of fabric - yes they do slip. So - do not remove that little piece of fabric around the strap.

I have always been intrigued by Travelon and all of the safety features this line offers. This spring I ordered F11872 this spring and was really disappointed. I didn't realize that the only safety feature was RFID and a little attached light on the inside of the bag. No safety features on the strap or hardware. It had a funny chemical smell, too. Anyway although I returned it, I am still interested in the line and I hope that maybe one day I'll find "the one"!

I purchased an RFID wallet but haven't bought a bag yet as I haven't found one that appealed to me yet! However, if I were traveling abroad, I'd definitely consider one with more features as I hear it's more of an issue. Especially passport protection.

I will be interested to see what the TSV will be!

I have two Travelon bags and neither has a band of fabric on the strap (I just checked, and I've never taken anything off either bag).... so I guess mine came defective....

I have 2 of the quilted bags and a convertible backpack. Use them for travel, but more often than not, I use them on days where it's raining and I don't want to use an expensive leather bag only to ruin it, or put it in a plastic bag! Have to admit that I have been using the backpack (olive in color) alot this summer because it is so cute! I have received many a compliment on it! Have referred many to QVC due to that bag!

I just got an email for the Travelon TSV. Item number F11901 for $34.98. It's a hobo bag and wristlet. I'm thinking about ordering the grey.

I'm disappointed as well.... not so much in the product itself because I like them, but in this particular stle, as it looks almost exactly the same as the two I own right now~! They all don't have to be cross-body styling, they could have a harder construction, a satchel (two handles) as well as a long cross body... I was hoping for a little more style.. I have to pass... .

I received my Travelon TSV bag with wallet today in navy and I'm pretty happy with it. I graduated from a small 9x9 Travelon bag to this larger one. I wanted one that would fit my iPad when I travel and this fits the bill. I'm putting my keys in the outside zipper pocket so I'm not always digging for my keys. The only thing that would make it perfect would be more card slots in the purse. But I knew that it didn't have many when I ordered it from watching the presentations and can make do. Other than that I think it is well made and the navy color is nice. Hope others enjoy yours!

I've always purchased designer bags, but in the past 1.5 years I have bought six Travelon bags. Because of their weight, I find I use them more often now than the others.

What amazes me in most is that they can hold much more than they look when first purchased.

The biggest and most lightweight to me is the following style: Great purchase !

Soooo roomy but yet not heavy when fully loaded to me !

The navy is a good "navy" color !

Also, as with their other bags, you can shorten the handle and carry it at whatever level your body desires.

Our local AAA offices sell Travelon bags (and other travel products). AAA members get a discount on them and every now and then there's a coupon for an extra 10% off in the AAA magazine Home and Away (copies of which are at the offices so you don't have to bring it with you). They are a tad higher priced than Q's but not so much when you figure in Q's shipping cost which you don't have to pay at AAA of course..

The ones at AAA have really good safety features because they are specifically for travel (like the locking zippers, the metal inside so nobody can cut through, etc.). I've found some larger styles there too.

Why make a safety bag then put the built in wallet on the front with the zipper in the most convenient location for the old time pick pocket ?

I have asked , never received an answer to the question " can the card readers read transmission from the zippered sides of the wallets where there is no aluminum foil ? "

The bag I bought I ordered specifically for the safety wallet. I was planning to use the bag as a computer sleeve/organizer but the odd shape nixed this idea. So the bag was just money wasted.

I too hope to see stylish, safe purses in future editions.

I have had at least 5 Travelons over the years, plus the latest TSV, which in style, fabric & color is a big disappointment. About 1 1/2 years ago I bought F11068, which was a satchel with double handles & shoulder strap. The shape is adorable, the fabric a smooth, very sturdy nylon - I believe - with plenty of room & outside pockets on the diagonal in front. It still looks new. I would like Q to bring it back. It was very popular.
