I am so bad I just ordered 3 off Amazon! I think I am going to try for no purses for a year!

I have 3 Kate Spade purses. 2 of them are sitting in the dust bags on my closet shelf, with the tags still attached. I keep saying I'm going to sell them and I need to get on that. LOL

My carry everyday purse is a black KS that I bought a few years ago. Since I bought this purse, I've really not wanted to carry anything else for the fall/winter. I wish I could find the same exact purse but in a more spring/summer color.

My quest is the reason for the 2 unused purses. The one I thought was very close and it's not. The other I bought thinking I'd like it and it's just not for me.

This black purse is just perfect. OTOH, I really don't much care for the 2 wallets I have. Everything about them is good except for the windowed slot where you would typically put your drivers license. The license fits so tight in that slot, it's nearly impossible to get it out.

Just finished my year of self imposed ban on bags. It was very difficult, I did get 3 wallets. Totally miss my dear cyber friends on the Purse Forum. I had to quit going there cold turkey because their pictures of their new purses made me shop crazy. I still go look but have refrained from buying.

I love Kate Spade purses and don't blame you one bit for ordering 3. Nothing better than getting a great price.

I have a Kate Spade bag that I absolutely love! Saw some really pretty ones the other day at TJ Maxx at amazing prices. But, if I bought another bag, my husband would kill me. Beautiful bags have become an obsession!

If buying what you love brings no financial hardship to your family, I say go for it and enjoy them!

I have a Kate Spade from years ago and love it! I forget the style but it's a structured square hand held or over the arm and is made of Black Pig Skin Leather. It's very feminine, holds what I need, has a matching wallet and I feel so very Grace Kelly when I carry it....

my daughter is very much into the kate spade handbags now......along with dooneys. i try to buy her at least one a year, but prefer to check out the outlet store. when i find a great deal i buy it. i found a very cute kate spade handbag that was a great deal.....not an every day handbag, but too cute to not buy for nights out. original price was around $350......i got it for around $100.

I went a little crazy purse shopping last year too. And shoes. And cosmetics. And clothes.

I really am going to reign it in too. It's just silly. My health has been such that I don't go enough to have all these clothes and purses, etc. That's been half my problem. Too much time at home hunting bargains, lol.

I agree about the wallets!! I had to take out my license out at the DMV and even the clerk had a hard time when I handed it to her. I have a clutch that I use if I am going to the mall alone that I love.

I had one that I carried for awhile, but I ended up selling it. The bag itself was a bit heavy to begin with and by the time I loaded it with all my stuff it was just too heavy. I really liked it though - wish it had worked.

I ordered 2 more Kate Spade purses. They are going back! $600 I don't have that kind of money. I need to learn self control when it comes to purses!

@Pinkroses, don't feel too bad. I think a lot of us could use more self-control when it comes to handbags!

As for Kate Spade bags, I love the styles and wanted one for years. I finally purchased one last year, and while I love the way it looks, I've found it's not really very functional for me. I don't know if I will ever buy another one.

I agree there can be a funcitonality issue, I guess, just as there can be for many bags from many brands... A friend of mine got a very cute KS satchel a number of years ago, but it was so strangely designed that it always appeared to be 'front heavy', making getting in and out of it a chore... I have two KS bags and don't really covet having more. The two I have are fine, but for the price, I prefer other options.
