I was thinking the same thing. I have only bought Lug bags. I have about 7 of them and love them. I have wanted to try IHKWIP.

I haven't bought either but there is an Equip (can't be bothered to look up the ridiculous spelling) that is very similar to a Shorty Love bag I have been eyeing.

I'm not likely to make a Lug purchase because their over-organization would make me batty.

I have both but tend to use my Lug bags more often. I did buy a small lightweight IHKWIP for taking with me on vacation which I used all the time then. I like how they are both organized and lightweight.

I tend to use Lug bags in the summer and I'm drawn to some of them since they are so cute! I just purchased

F43363 lug crossbody Sprinker in the Patriotic & Starfish. What can I say?...I like cute bags in the summer.

IHKWIP bags have a cleaner look and maybe a bit more sophisticated. However I find when I'm going for that look I tend to go for either a leather or in the summer a straw bag so I don't use IHKWIP as much as I thought that I would.

Also, my Lug bags usually can stand on its own while my IHKWIP bags tend to flop over.

Mine too. All my bags are Lug now, although I'm actively trying to limit my purse 'collection'.

I returned every IHKWIP bag I ordered and will not be ordering any more.

I like both brands and use both mainly for travel. I think they are quite similar in style and organization but I will say IHKWIP bags are better quality and feel more substantial, not heavy but have a bit more weight to the material.

I don't like anything about the IHKWIP bags. All the ones I've seen presented just don't suit my needs. There always seems to be one or more features...style/organization/set-up I just don't like on each bag or tote...like snaps instead of zippers for more security.

I love the Lug brand.

i'm not sure you have either brand because neither of them are "vinyl." I have both and both are polyester. I love them both because they wear beautifully and are very very lightweight

i have one Lug - skeeter mini- in metallic blue with the swallows on the inside. i like it a lot.

IHKWIP- i have about 10...i lilke every one i bought and use the original 'shopper tote' as my every day bag. all the other are on the smal side which i use for everything else.

using the triple zip - metallic black - tonight for dinner.

i like IHKWIP b/c of their color palette. solids in colors i can use all the time. i feel Lug is very 'cutesy' and does not really fit into my wardrobe. they have too many patterns that i feel are juvenile. and some of their interior prints are just ugly.

if i am wearing prints, i want a solid bag. i find it very difficult to match printed bags with my clothing.

i feel both brands are well made. but i will say i don't care for Lug's strap on the skeeter mini, just feels cheap.

I prefer IHKWIP. Personally, I like their nylon better and am not so much a fan of a printed handbag. I find IHKWIP has a nicer feel and sheen. It has just as much organization as lug, with one exception. I really wish they had the insulated cooler pocket inside. That's the best!

i will add IHKWIP fabric is durable, light and water repellent. i feel they just have more of a chic factor.

i use that 'everyday essential' bag, regular and XL all the time for shopping. perfect for Costco. great for vacay.

Hav3 you ever looked at MZ Wallace bags? They make many Nylon bags that surely must be the masterpieces of the industry. Beautiful fabric, construction, organization and hardware.

They're expensive and look it, but good bargains can be found if you follow their website.

just received the Lug Skeeter mini bridge bag today. So stinkin cute and tons of room. Easy to access all areas. Love the charm bar. ( I also decorate my planner with fun stickers. Guess I'm just an overgrown 11 year old lol) I had an IHKWIP Everyday essentials bag but found the partial compartments on the sides kind of awkward. Probably just me. I know it's very popular.

I do like the water repellent factor. Is lug water repellent? Hmm don't know.

although I enjoy my Lugs, it can be challenging to find a solid color that I can live with, something that's pretty and not black. The Lug theme of Live life in color suits a lot of loyal fans. sometimes her prints and designs do run to juvenile and overly cutesy as you mentioned. For example the neon palettes even though they are solids, are not for me. And I absolutely cannot carry a patterned bag with patterned clothes. It jars my senses.

In a perfect world, I'd like Lug keep their styles and organization but upgrade to offer the beautiful classic solid colors and fabrics of IHKWIP. Lug needs a change from the quilted look, at least for a few pieces.

i have many Lug bags. All of them are solid colors. The patterns are too juivinille for me. Any IHKWIP I have ordered have been returned mainly because the styles I bought don't stand on their own, they were too heavy, and I am not fond of the floppy big canvas straps.

I prefer Ikwip bags. I like their material better than Lug. I do wish Ihkwip would sell extender straps for their belt bags and their over the chest bags. Lug does that in case you need them in colors to match their bags.
