to put feet on their bags? At over a hundred bucks I expect it. I want to pull the trigger on a luscious sale priced hobo but no feet is a deterrent. C'mon man, do better

My objection to their bags is that they're too low- budget with no hardware or anything to give them pizazz or personality. Obviously made to sell as cheaply as possible. Not my cup of tea.

They get a lot of great reviews. But I guess there's always a chance of getting a bad bag

I have a new Dooney zip zip satchel in forest green waiting to be unwrapped. No worries about the quality on that one

I've seen many American Leather bags in person, and they always look like good quality to me. I've not seen any with old, dried out leather.

I own several bags from American Leather Co. None of them have given any problems, and the leather is soft, very nice.

The last TSV from them has feet.

I used to be a Dooney lover and have many bags. They haven't been the same great quality in quite a few years. I've had to return so many because of defects.

When I pay that much for a leather bag it better be perfect. Dooney's customer service has decreased also.

So sad, for me anyway.

Hope your D & B zip zip is in perfect condition when you open it.

@smoochy - I have one American Leather bag, the Austin. Part of me bought it because of the name. I'm quirky that way! LOL! I wanted a plain black bag, but I won't get them without feet. This one has feet.

I have to admit I'm not a huge fan of this brand. I learned this line is owned by Aimee Kestenberg.

Not a brand loyalist but do like some of their bags, in fact, I own several. As for feet on bags, their presence or absence has never been an issue for me. I prefer them on more structured, more dressy bags, but don't necessarily think they complement more slouchy types of bags.
