Anyone own Anuschka Handbags

If you own any of the Anuschka handbags I would love to know if you really like the bag and if the quality is good. I'm looking at a small one I would like for the summer for vacations and just running errands, but it is a little pricey and just curious if they are worth the money. Thanks for any feedback.

I owned one Anuschka handbag and regret the purchase. At the time, I thought it was pretty on TV, but IRL it's tacky, IMO. The quality is OK, but nothing like a Dooney or Patricia Nash. I do have an Anuschka checkbook cover that I like and have used for many years. It's still in good shape.

I have two wallets and at one time a handbag which I gave to someone because she loved it. Quality is outstanding. The leather is soft and supple. The painting is exquisite.
Buy one!! Absolutely worth the money.

Be aware that there seems to be a knockoff brand call Anna by Anuschka out there. Very prominent on Amazon.

My opinion only but for the price I would rather buy a Hammitt or Brighton. Great leather, never no out of style.

Sorry, poor choice of word.

The Anna line is a "younger, more affordable" set of products. So one can choose.

@happilyretiredgirl. I bought 2 of these bags long ago when they first appeared on ShopNBC. I kept th3m out for a long time, months, trying to decide if I liked them and finally concluded I did not and would never use them. Gave one to a friend who likes them; the other still resides somewhere in the depths of my closet.

They are brighter and more garish in person than they appear on TV. Some of the paint is actually iridescent

I wear a lot of prints and the bag and clothing just clashed.

The bag are very nice leather and seem to be well made.

@happilyretiredgirl More or less I guess I am in my own camp here. I have a few Anushka bags, a wallet and an eye glass holder. ALL of which are superior quality and beautifully made. The painting is all done by hand on real leather and the word garish??, I think it depends on what the decorative theme is on the bag. The designs I am drawn to are a bit on the more subtle side. I love them!

I have purchased all of mine on HSN, right now it seems the inventory is low but most of the time they have lots to choose from and they generally ship for free.

I bought an Anuschka crossbody in an elephant design last year on sale at HSN. I guess it's probably considered very garish, but I like it, and think it's cute IRL. Something different than I usually carry, that's for sure!

I do get compliments when I wear it - though who knows what they are actually thinking LOL.

With occasional use over a year it still looks like brand new, and the quality is still very nice. Plus back then it was on sale at HSN with free shipping which is always a good thing!

I own 1 Anuschka bag that I bought years and years ago from ShopHQ. Soft leather, only carried it maybe 3 times and it's been packed away for years. Nice print but I don't plan to ever carry that bag again because I prefer solid color bags now.

I bought a crossbody on HSN last year on sale and the bag is very well made BUT my big problem was getting in and out of the bag. Too tight. I will be selling it on Ebay lol.

I love mine, the leather is soft the painting is lovely. I get compliments on it. I purchased mine from shophq years ago when it was evine. In fact I used mine today. I never tire of looking at it.
