Do you prefer structured or squooshy bags?

I like a structured bag usually. But once in a while a larger bag in soft, pliable leather is a fun change.

Nope, structured.

My favorite bag of all time is the one I'm carrying now. Structured, with 3 large zippered compartments separated by slot compartments ... with magnetic snaps and 3 discreet outside pockets. In total, 13 compartments, and it stands up by itself and I don't need two hands to hold it and open it.

Very pretty AND highly functional.

I could never carry bags that puddle or squish.

I prefer smaller, structured bags.

I carry only the essentials these days.

I like shopper tote styles (not real big though), so I guess this is sort of structured??? Or I like a cross-body bag which is not tiny but not large either. I used to like hobo bags the best and I think those are kind of slouchy or squooshy as you refer to them.

I also used to love hobos, in my younger days yeah slouchy is probably the word I should have used lol

Years ago I like The Sak hobos. Tried one earlier this year and found the quality not what it used to be, sadly

I like both, but structured bags that look like lunch boxes or suitcases are not my style. Example: Queen Elizabeth's boxy bag. Yuck.

I prefer a softer looking structured bag.

I have this bag in the same color too. I've only used it a handful of times. I need to take it out.

I've said this before but it probably bears repeating.

At a self-defense class we were told that carrying a bag like this with the small handles and letting the other strap dangle is a purse snatcher's dream bag.

Very easy to knock you down, grab the dangling strap and be on the next block before you got up off the ground. If both your keys and phone were in the bag, you're screwed.

The police officers giving the seminar said NEVER have two handles on a bag, and NEVER put your keys in your handbag, only in your pocket. They might get your handbag and phone, but at least you can still drive home if you have your keys.

Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now. lol

I love the color and it's really cute!. However it's a bit too large, stiff and bulky for me. I prefer a smaller crossbody with structure but with a soft leather.
