I've moved well away from the brand myself, but she has a number of new offerings on QVC, some of which are quite pretty.

@stevieb I've also even quit looking at her bags. I've eventually been dissatisfied with every one I've purchased.

@Kachina624 I've not been wowed by her bag's construction many times. They often seem not well thought out. I also find the leather is often very stiff. I do like some of her designs, but more her earlier ones than most recent ones, and I've grown very weary of her endless tooled and foiled bags. I also find some of those rounded straps and handles sort of cheesy looking. Occasionally though, she still comes up with something that catches my eye, even though I haven't purchased anything in a while. All that said, she's pricing herself out of contention for my handbag dollars. If I'm going to be paying several hundred dollars for a bag, it's not often going to be hers, as there are other brands I prefer and find to be more worth the investment.

I was in dillards yesterday and the manager of the handbag section asked me about that one. Of course I

filled her in and said "Limited Edition" I have # 81.

she said "we don't have anything like that". I said Ovc had it on sale for one day for 300. She said "You can tell that is worth the money it's so lux". LOL

I bought a couple and was disappointed too. I used one bag only a couple of weeks and the leather had several fine tears in it. Never bought another one plus a majority of her bags are to big and heavy.

like those extra zipper compartments on the top.

one on back and front.

17 wide, so, will be as big as the other one I got

the Beneveto something like that got that one in lobster bisque.

We all enable each other. Nash has bunch of shows on this weekend. Sunday she is pretty busy.

I saw this gal at Dillards thurs. with this tiny, tiny shoulder 'purse' . I thought 'hun, you can't keep nothing but a cell phone in that thing'.

credit card is about all. How in the world do people do that, I do not know. Just do not know.

@SharkE - There is something irresistable to me about that woven Augusta Discovery bag. I ordered it in black, figuring if there is ever a problem with the leather due to a ding of any kind in the future, I can always use a black Sharpie pen to make it disappear. I am so drawn to the bag in the granita and lobster bisque and even the blue coral and sun colors, too. Knowing myself, however, I am sure I will wear a black bag the most, by far. (All of my colored bags are crying in my closet as I type these words to you, due to their feelings of abandonment.)

Dusty Rose, is a color that nobody can own except me !!

ROFL It is beyond gorgeous. If your a pink lover, this one

you will have to own. I'm watching HSN right now and they have 814-575 in that color.

For the winter time 'oxblood' rules.

HSN is having a 2 hr show of her bags. When people in the know see the Augusta they know it's special.

It's easy to carry a small purse. I carry only a small crossbody. Keys, cards, a phone and some aspirin. That's it. I've never carried a big bag. I don't need to carry the kitchen sink.

Watched last night.

Succumbed.

The green one is coming to my cottage.

Nash's Discovery line is quite lush.

I bought her FIRST Discovery, the Augusta, many years ago when it was shown. Adore it, though had it stashed away (a sign of a handbag collector is that you have many bags tucked away).

Pulled out the Augusta last night and appreciated the luxe features, including the map lining, woven leather.

The green bag is very pretty. My concern is with those side zipper pockets. Put anything of subtance in them and the lines of the bag will be off kilter. I'll also be curious to hear your take on whether this bag is supple or stiff.

@stevieb I also wondered about stiffness!

If I carry a large bag (which I often do), I want hobo soft. The only Gucci I have is the blueu denim Sukey.

So, although the green is coming, I made up for the possibility of stiffness (I won't hesitate to return) by ordering the Augusta (I have the original many years ago) in lavender. Slouchy to the max!

Glad U bought that up. I stayed up and watched the midnight show, although, I had already ordered the Cortona in cognac.

I was waiting for them to show those long zippered extra pockets. Main reason I bought it. THEY NEVER DID ! So, now, I'm thinking it's all in my head and they're really not pockets. I was getting ready to email CS and ask them. It says so in the description. They were in a hurry , as usual, maybe they just forgot.

I will still keep my order in,but, I liked the idea of more compartments. Glad your under the impression @stevieb that it is true POCKETS. I Tivoed the show will watch to see if I'm nuts.
