@stevieb I have to be done buying bags this year. I came back this year from living abroad and made up for lost time in the worst way. OMG! The other day I realized how many it was and I couldn't believe it. AFTER that realization I still got the AK TSV!!!

Well hey there Vixen @NycVixen... You're in the right place... All of us are fighting the hand bag urge, with wildly mixed results and somewhat limited success... Be forewarned, though, some of the ladies posting are infamous (and I mean infamous...) enablers!!

Good morning @stevieb!!! I found Santa, and I'm already making my Wish List for Christmas. At this point, the list only contains blank lines, waiting for new ideas from this thread and other offerings from the Q and Dooney, primarily. I'm sure I'll fill in that list come December for sure with the 12 Days of Dooney daily sales!

Hi @NycVixen! But the AK TSV in sangria was IRRESISTIBLE!!!

Good luck trying to be done with buying handbags for the rest of the year. I've found the last portion of the year to be extremely challenging!

@1Professor What a beautiful Anuschka!!! The tiger seems to glow in the center! Very pretty. I recently bought my first Anuschka...sunflowers on a shoulder bag...for my aunt who loves sunflowers. When it arrived, I was so pleased with the quality and the yummy leather, smell and all! Now I have to tell myself it's not for me and save it for her birthday next year. I will be good (I think)! Glad @stevieb has started this new quarter. Looking forward to all the interesting things we will discover during this quarter. I received my Mom's Gucci yesterday. The repair work was incredible. I am really pleased with the results. It is almost like a brand new bag. Now I will be able to carry the last bag DM used during the year before she passed away. Today, in fact, is the 6t anniverary of her passing. Very sad and diffocult day for me.

@stevieb and @EdithEllenLily ... I have no choice... I have to like the Bucyeyes. My oldest niece just started her freshman year at Ohio State. She has been attending all the games. Seems like everyone at Ohio State is obsessed!! LOL. In any event, EEL explained why she doesn't like them in a post in last quarter's thread. @stevieb..why do you not like them?

That last month of the year is a good bag buying month for me, between Black Friday and the post christimas sales JTB has a tough time resisting.

Right now there is not any bag I am wanting too much though, coughs (Chanel double flap I'm looking at you)

The seller accepts returns so we shall see whether or not she is a keeper. Will keep everyone posted. After I receive it I will be finished buying bags for a VERY LOOONNNNGGGG TIme... although @stevieb has little faith in me. I will live vicariously through all you ladies. And I will certainly not stop LOOKING at new bags.

Well, it appears many of us agree, this is a rough time of year for handbag aficionados. All the fall and winter bags, which in my view tend to be more substantial and more desirable, and then there are the holidays, when most stores stock to the rafters... It's going to be rough... I predict a full bench and possibly a whole fleet of porta potties...

@EdithEllenLily... Glad you found the new thread... We'll have to be keeping a keen eye on you, I know. Fortunately, I'm pretty much over Dooney and if last year was any indication, the 12 Days well, it's seen better days... As I remember, the pickings were slim. The year before, I ordered a watch and a coin purse and that was it. Last year, nada... I suggest you do yourself, Mr. EEL and your ovens a favor and simply delete those emails without opening. The school marm agrees... Truly, it'd be for the best.

Excuses, excuses... I have relatives who have gone to schools all over the place. Doesn't mean I have to like them... the schools or the relatives...

Oh dear @Boehm Collector, there's often no rhyme or reason as to why we support the schools (or even pro sports teams) we do... I don't want to ruffle any feathers, but OSU has just never struck me favorably. I do agree with EEL, though, I like the chocolate and peanut butter ones, but that's about it.

Halston Heritage...

I have to say, I've seen a number of bags from this line while shopping and they really appear to be fabulous quality and sumptuous leather. I came across one the other day that forced me to sit up and take notice. I didn't love the silhouette or color, but still would have been happy to own the bag. Even at discount it was pricey. I wonder if the Q's incarnation of this line is at the same level and if so, I truly hope they expand the handbags they offer. None of the few currently being sold here does much for me, but I might just be tempted to try something from this line.

Joining the party, here. All of you enablers are so much fun!

Like most of you, I'll admit that l have more than enough handbags. So lately, I'll buy a handbag, admire it for a while, realize l don't need it, and then return it. This is a pattern l keep repeating. Does anyone else do this? Do l need an intervention??

And all of you who say you're done buying handbags for a very long time, hahaha. I'll bet you're not!!

@Jayhawk Girl Yes, many of us here are among the significantly disturbed... Some more than others... I keep hoping they'll invent a new drug that completely eradicates the desire to own handbags... If they do, I propose we be their test group...
