There are all grades of faux leather. That is why you can lump the quality of all vegan leather into one basket. However, her designer label is like any other....you do always pay for the designer label. A LV canvas bag is not cheap.

If it was a priority to own designer clothing....Stella McCartney would be at the top of my list. Her backpack was on my wish list purchase years ago.

I don't care what it is made of, I will never pay a high ticket price and walk around with someones name carved on the front! I don't care who they are!

Not unless they are going to pay ME a stipend for free advertising! LOL

Love the blue color though...but that bag has NO redeeming inside features at all!

@gertrudecloset She has worked her way up & become a well known designer, so that has as much to do with it as her name being "Stella".

It is nice looking faux leather, so I suppose the quality is there, if you are looking for a designer bag.

She also just came out with a line of skin care that is a bit pricey.

@Krimpette I agree, Mccartney rarely does that.....I don't care for any bag,etc that does that designer or not. And some designers do just that all over like the L.V. monogram.

She's always had name recognition going for her, otherwise, while I've never been bowled over by her designs, she's clearly been successful. As for faux leather, while there might be differences in quality, when all is said and done faux leather is still faux leather and simply isn't generally as durable as a nicer leather bag. A few years back I invested in a 'nicer vegan' leather bag and after a few years and somewhat minimal use, it too started to peel, as many vinyl bags will do. At her price range, I'd personally be looking at other brands.

Yes it's robbery because it's plastic. Leather, I could see. I know that workmanship and attention to detail as well as materials account for something.

TOTAL robbery is exactly what it is. Faux leather, is faux leather is faux leather...whether bought at Target or Nordies. Please. keep it. And agree with others also that say, I'd never buy a bag with someone's name all over it; I don't even like initials or my OWN name on it!!

We used to sell a TON of them on repeat at a boutique I worked in. Affordable and so many styles and colors.
