Anyone watching TSV Dooney?

I absolutely love it, it’s perfect in every way, I ordered the Mustard and can’t wait to get it. The handles look much longer on the models than the measurements say, so I’m not worrying about that like I was before. Anybody else getting it?

Ordered two — natural and Bordeaux — a couple of days ago for holiday gifts, but after watching the presentation, I decided I may get one for myself. I have several great yellow bags ( Dooney and frye) so I may get another Bordeaux or natural for myself. Decisions, decisions....

@QuinnPenny I love it but it weighs 2 lbs 8 oz. It would be much too heavy for me once I put my stuff in it. I broke my shoulder several years ago and it still bothers me. I still have time to change my mind, there are ocassions where I do need a larger bag. Enjoy yours, pretty color.

It is very nice and the slip outside pockets are great. However, I bought a dooney heavy purse years ago and dragging it around was so tiring and heavy on my shoulder.

The colors are pretty. However D&B bags are too heavy for me. I prefer cloth bags.

I have 2 or 3 softer, large, leather hobo style D&B bags. While still somewhat structured, like TSV, they “pool” & this one seems stiff...and heavy. My large hobos are on an upper shelf collecting dust. A NO for me.

Beautiful & well made bag. However they are too stiff & too heavy for my taste. I no longer buy Dooney.

I have several older Coach bags with this exact same shape but with metal hardware where the (4) handles meet the bag for easier access. That being said it is one of my favorite shapes and a great tote. The Dooney is a great looking TSV but pricey considering it is the TSV and the stupid high shipping charge.

@hopi To your point, the handles on TSV are sewn on vs. a ring attachment which allows them to fall open easily.

It's a lovely bag, but I'm a satchel girl.

I think it will sell well because of the practical style and the manageable size. They are also offering it in really good colors. The only negative for me is the contrast stitching-- something you either really like or really dislike. Personally, I don't care for it.

I really like the style, the leather, and the colors. The mustard has been calling my name. for those who ordered, enjoy your new Dooney.

BTW, the handles do fold down, even thought there are no metal O rings. The handles are hinged and designed to fold down, not to bend down or stay upright always.

I love good purses but $200 is way too much for my budget. Marshalls/TJ Maxx or consignment shops are where I get my handbags.

I like it and the colors are pretty. However, you can get a similar shaped style for about half price on IloveDooney.

The sealant on the handles is facing out!! Not my idea of pretty, since when is the seam and sealant a design feature. I am so disappointed because I really wanted a tote in red. The other thing is the leather on leather attachment of the handles to the purse. With enough stress those leather areas are going to wear like crazy.... they're always moving... for $200 I want hardware. As I said, I'm disappoionted.....

I was tempted, but I just donated many expensive designer bags that were too heavy,so I'm not going for it.
