Dooney TSV Hobo Yellow bag Tassel problem

I've never posted but needed advice, I got AND LOVE the recent TSV Dooney smooth leather hobo, there's something fresh about it and the yellow butter color AMAZING but of course the cool feature of the tassel inside leather matching the bag is messed up on the yellow bag and the inside leather is taupe? I got a couple other colors (green, pink, geranium) and they are all perfect with the matching leather inside the tassel and it looks so cool! Did anyone else buy a yellow bag with the same problem? I would reorder but yellow is sold out. Customer service was useless and even implied the tassel leather was supposed to be a different color....clearly the CS don't watch the shows as Sue kept making that a selling point. Could I contact DB? Or even Sue Clifton? I am just wondering if all the yellow bags are messed up maybe they'd fix the problem somehow for us?

Maybe someone who bought the yellow will answer. I ordered this, but cancelled the same say. It just seemed too large for me. If you are on facebook Sue Clifton should be able to answer, and hopefully will. If I had bought the yellow I would return it for this, because Sue did make it a selling point.

It might be as easy as switching out the tassel? So there could be a taupe out there with your tassel.

Thanks for the input. I love the bag......way more than I even thought I would. I buy a lot of Dooney, especially when there was more Florentine, and there is something special about this one. It can be big but Sue was right it doesn't have to be. It's just a cool bag with the big zipper and I love that it drapes yet has structure. Anyway....I HOPE SOMEONE ELSE WHO GOT YELLOW WOULD RESPOND so I can see if it was just mine.....or anyone who bought taupe that has a yellow tassel....ha....maybe we can switch!

You might try posting in the main handbag section so more people will see your question. I don't know if everyone checks My favorite brand. This was just a random thing.

You can either check for a return and exchange yours or contact DB directly for another tassel? Perhaps they have parts? Good luck!

I dont see Sue answering anything over there. Its just advertising posts in my experience.

I got the butter color and didnt even take notice till i read your postt.i just went and checked and mine DOES have matching yellow in the tassel. Yours may have gotten the wrong one with the bag. I would definitely call QVC or D &B if it bothers you.

I received my Jade bag with the tassel but some of the FRINGES WERE CUT OFF! No more Jade either...my other 2 bags came (bone D&B Logo Lock & Green Brenna) thank goodness they were intact within the plastic bags...sorry 4 your inconvnience...

Sue has always answered my questions on FB. I post directly though, and not in the midst of comments.

I just posted a question for her. I have tried before and seen nothing. You may have just been lucky.
