I have returned so much stuff in the last month, my mailman thinks I am a nut. He puts it in the mailbox, the next day I return it. I have so much stuff that the sizing is off. RYKA slip on sneakers, GO WALK slip on sneakers, D & C jeans, Susan graver coat..................

I bought 5 pair of the D&C pedal pushers with the side button. 4 of the 5 pair fit right out of the package. the last pair, the material felt stiff and tight. so I washed them and they feel so much better. But goes to show how all the same line never fits exactly the same. so frustrating. so i will pay up easy pay and take a very looooooong break from purchasing from the Q.

I agree!! The last SG liquid knit essential shirt I bought went back. It was so long and was not designed as a tunic. I also don't understand the cost of a return...the amount deducted from the original sale receipt was near $10! I understood I had to pay 6.95 but what on earth was the extra for??

I am buying less and less and less. When tempted, I have to remind myself about the cost of return and the risk of things fitting right.

The sizing issue is the reason I buy 99% of my clothing brick and mortar. Even much more expensive lines Denum & Co. at high-end department stores have sizing issues.

I almost always take 2 sizes of any pants and tops into the dressing room with me because of that --and, yes, it's terribly frustrating.

I just hope as the online industry moves to less expensive shipping, they don't reduce quality. I've seen that happen and I'd rather buy less and pay more than have to settle for lower quality fabrics and workmanship.

I', probably going to be disappointed going forward because it seems to me that lots of buyers still want more and more instead of just better..

When you make a clothing return they deduct $6.95 return shipping (if you use their label) plus the original $3.00 shipping cost from the total amount you paid.

I totally agree - sizing not consistant - I am going to try not to purchase clothing any more. I now buy at Haute Look, Loft, Macy's. At least if I have to send back I can return items directly to the story. Oh, yes. Nordstrom as well; and I have also purchased some items at Old Navy believe it or not. Plus the clothing is the same nothing new. I have been a customer of QVC since its beginning. How sad.

I live in a small city where we have few options for buying clothes. However, I have been burned so many times with inconsistent sizing that I have decided to either shop locally regardless of limited choices or wait until I'm visiting a larger city to buy things. Fortunately we have a small Talbot's in our town so I've been buying most of my clothes there this year. Last week I had a doctor's appointment in a larger city and visited their Chico's and their much larger Talbot's. Naturally I tried everything on and didn't have to guess what would fit or what would look nice in person. Inconsistent sizing is not just a QVC problem but rather a women's clothing problem in general. Buying online is convenient except when you have to spend time and money returning things.

For me , when I first started shopping years ago, I found the sizing consistent and returned very few items. Just within the last two years, I have found just the opposite. I do consult the charts and particularly make it a point to consutlt the comments of others who have purchased the item I am interested in. I consider my self a savy shopper. I have little trouble with sizing on items I purchse from the Loft, Macy's, Haute Look, etc. I wish I had the same luck as you, but alas, not so.

I have been having a terrible time with sizing issues at QVC. Nearly all of the tops, pants, and shoes that I have purchased recently have all been returned because of being too big, too small, or too uncomfortable. I find it difficult and incredibly time consuming to shop at Brick and Mortar stores, but I no longer have much of a choice.

My issues have been w/ pants and shoes not being consistent ... even and B & M stores ... even amongst the same brand.

I'm looking for two things right now ... gray jeans and some new New Balance running shoes. I have gone to real stores ... tried on so many shoes ...none of them fit the way my old shoes do (in the way of support). As for jeans ... FTLOG .... how can it be so hard to find a pair of gray jeans that isn't loaded w/ spandex or poly?

All that to say ... I'm very leary of ordering pants or shoes from the Q unless I read that it fits true to size by a majority of reveiwers.

I am finished as well! I bought several items during the 48 hour fall fashion preview about a month or so ago. I sent every single item back. Some were too big and some were too small. I had seven packages to return. Multiply that times $6.95 to return! Sometimes it is convenient to shop from QVC but not for clothing. No more!!

ETA: I am sure most of us do read the size charts! I ordered five mock neck tunics from Denim & Co. I read the size chart and remained true to my size. NONE of the five fit the same! I just don't understand how the same size in the same item can be inconsistent.

I buy mostly D&C and rarely return anything because I study the garment measurements before I buy. I can't stand to browse in stores so most of my clothing comes from the Q.

I agree!!! I am returning alot. I wish QVC would further define garments in the sizing for that item.

I am a curvy lady. I have a small in comparison to my hips waist. I also have a 44" chest but my shoulders are very narrow.

How do you measure how wide your shoulders are?

How do you measure you rise ?

They show us hip bust and waist. but most of us know how to do that.

A place for definitioms of fit terms mayhelp.

Add me to the list of the people that have given up! Many of my favorite tops are from QVC, and probably 2-3 years old. When I find something interesting, I ALWAYS check the size chart...Big Joke! I have returned so many items (shoes included) that it is no longer worth it to me. I have shopped with QVC since the 80s. I realize times change and companies have to answer to investors, but it is just not worth it to me. I have had luck with most jewelry and beauty items, but my purchases are WAY down.

I agree that sizing is inconsistent, but I do pay close attention to the click here measurements and if the garment I receive doesn't match up with those, then I call CS and return it on their dime. If everyone would do this, then maybe the Q would have better quality control in place.
