      <description>&lt;P&gt;How in the world does one get to be a select customer and get emails/cards/whatever on special promo codes? &amp;nbsp;I've bought stuff from QVC for probably twenty years and never got that select customer status! &amp;nbsp;Really? &amp;nbsp;Do you have to know someone in management to get these codes occassionally? &amp;nbsp;It's frustrating considering how high everything is getting here and really is causing me to question any more purchases. &amp;nbsp;Any ideas about this?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I've been a QVC shopper since the early 90s. I am rarely a select customer. I wouldn't confuse the word select with words like loyal or frequent. I buy a lot, too much. I am always in a state of I have emails saying QVC is in receipt of my order, or my QVC order shipped, or my QVC order will arrive soon. There's rarely a gap of no activity. My guess is that I am not a select customer because QVC doesn't need to entice or tease me with coupon codes. They don't need to beg for my business.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I get coupons time to time both in email and snail mail.&amp;nbsp; I don't do a lot of buying.&amp;nbsp; I am retired and I just don't need or want more "Stuff"&amp;nbsp; I think the reason I get them is because I do very little buying. Sometimes I use them and sometimes I don't.&amp;nbsp; I cannot remember the last time I bought something that I either didn't have a discount code for or wasn't on free shipping.&amp;nbsp; I just recently got a coupon in snail mail.&amp;nbsp; I used it yesterday.&amp;nbsp; It was a Just because purchase.       <description>I agree with the poster. I have been a QVC customer for over 35 years and I’ve never received any special promotion or offer from them. I think they are doing themselves a disservice by offering special promos to “a select group of people.”</description>

To me that's just wrong.&amp;nbsp; Letting all your customers know that there's a special offer, but only if you're "select".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Same with HSN; nothing seems to work for me with them, even contacting CS several times about the issue.&amp;nbsp; I just got told by one CS rep that they "don't do beaucoup offers"!&amp;nbsp; Yes, they DO for some customers.&amp;nbsp; It seems the same customers all the time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did send QVC feedback about this issue a week or so ago, when I tried to use a coupon and it didn't work.&amp;nbsp; I got a reply that it "will be forwarded...".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(&lt;STRONG&gt;ETA:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;I did tell them in my feedback to check out the discussions of this issue on the forums, so they knew it wasn't just one customer "complaining"!)&lt;/P&gt;</description>
