2 Easy Pays Now??

Are most things going to be on 2 easy pays now? I like when there are more but have noticed since Tuesday most things are 2 easy pays and just a few things are 3, 4 or 5? Is this going to be a continuing thing?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place..Don't know where else to ask it.

I am still seeing 4 and 5 easy pays on items but I agree there are quite a few with 2 and 3 easy pays.

Thank you for answering Estellee! Yes still seeing it on several items but since Tuesday there are more 2 easy pays than others...I am really disappointed by that.

@KyBlueGal - If you get the Q card, you can have 5 EP on all items everyday.

I too noticed that on Tuesday and wondered why they changed it from the lowest being 3 always never 2 ! It's strange . There must be a beneficial reason for them to change it . I don't feel we willl see 5 EP very often any longer .

This probably has to do with the accounting for the filing of the bankruptcy.

I think they're pushing the q card. It still gives the 5 ez pay option when using their card.

I don't know for sure but it might be the cost of the item that dictates the EPs. For example if an item is on sale for under a certain amount say $25 then it makes sense, I sure wouldn't want to extend a small amount over 5 months. In fact I rarely use EPs on a small amount. That's just my guess.

I just turned in the Q and they are offering 4 eps on Jim Shore items

i checked further and it looks like it's on clearance sale prices. Some are 3 eps but it depends on the price and if they are clearance sale items

Definitely a tool to bring in as much cash as possible now as a nest egg should they file Chapter 11.

Companies often amass and hoard cash in the months prior.

It seems to now be the norm because I have seen almost everything in the last week or so sized down to 2 easy pays instead of 3 or more. That's disappointing because in the long run it will hurt them as majority of QVC customers rely on Easy Payments to make purchases. Retirees and people on fixed incomes for one. Even my own daughter who is 24 and has a good paying job shops here because of the Easy Pay, especially for higher purchases like her love for Denim & Co leather jackets and Barefoot Dreams collection. She was going to make several purchases this week but seeing only 2 easy pays, she decided not to.

I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I'd love more two-pay options. I don't use Easy Pay frequently, but it can be very handy when buying multiples or an expensive item. One of the main reasons I got a Q Card is because it offered three payments on everything, but it has now escalated to five payments instead, which I really never want.

@Kaiti126 - Why don't you suggest to your daughter to get the Q card? I do all my purchases on EP and pay the Q card in full each month. I've never paid interest. I love my Q card.

Thanks for the feeback..Just guess I won't be ordering from QVC anymore. I do Easy pay all the time. So unless they have a 5 easy pay than they have lost me as a customer. I am on a limited income and this is the way I order the things I love from here.

Yes, you can use the Q card, but unless you are able to pay off your balance every month, you will have to pay exhorbitant interest rates.

As time moves forward, you see more and more 2 easy payments regardless of price. I expect more customers moving away from purchasing. I am wondering if they weighed the down side. Once you start loosing customers, it is very difficult to replace with new customers who purchase on a reoccurring basis.
