      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I received a food item a week ago.&amp;nbsp; It was beyond awful.&amp;nbsp; I called for a refund and they said it was Still in Process"&amp;nbsp; WTH!!!!!!!&amp;nbsp; I was holding the box in my hands!!&amp;nbsp; They said to just keep checking.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp; have been a customer here for over 30 years and I cannot believe the awful service I have to deal with.&amp;nbsp; What am I supposed to do, check back every day until the 30 day passed!?&amp;nbsp; I tried giving these scones to my neighbor&amp;nbsp; and she literally spit it out it was like eating sugar and they were dry and hard.&amp;nbsp; I do not have the time to go through this every day.&amp;nbsp; I am disgusted that I am being treated this way.&amp;nbsp; I will never, ever, buy a food product from here again.&amp;nbsp; The CS rep. said she would send a message to some department,&amp;nbsp; yeah good luck with that.&amp;nbsp; What do you suggest I do to get my refund.&amp;nbsp; The scones were in the garbage a weekl ago.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

You don't have to call every day if that is inconvenient for you.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="helvetica" size="5" color="#003300"&gt;I have ordered many, l mean a whole lot, of food items and have been very pleased with them. I think I had one issue and QVC&amp;nbsp;was very good with their refund policy.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="helvetica" size="5" color="#003300"&gt;A side note, I haven't purchased any scones from QVC but I have recently from a couple bakeries and was actually very disappointed. They look so moist and delicious but are very dry. I guess they are suppose to and I have told myself to not buy them anymore. They just aren't a favorite bakery item of mine. The Jimmy the Baker pastries have always been so good that my family asks for them.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;QVC always refunds food products when notified. UPS &amp;nbsp;usually does a great job but I've had to return(report) frozen food that remained on the truck too long or was left in the sun . We have one driver who won't deliver to the address but prefers the leasing office a block away. It is so frustrating but I am careful not to order food or any product that would be damaged by sun or heat. Amazon allows you to add delivery options to your order and I wish QVC would do the same. Most UPS drivers are terrific! All it takes is one to make shopping by mail difficult. By the way, the leasing office closes by 5 and has no air conditioning. It is closed for the weekend. .&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I begged recipe from a housekeeper in hotel. &amp;nbsp;How kind she was. &amp;nbsp;We were talking scones, and she offered. &amp;nbsp;Of course I had to translate measurements when I got home, &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Scones in America are different . &amp;nbsp;But even in GB every bakery is different. Some are dryer, some a bit moister. They are meant to be a cross between a biscuit (cookie) and a a shortbread cake like pastry. &amp;nbsp;The commercial ones like Jimmy The baker, and even grocery store bakeries are made commercially, they are mixed with a huge blender. &amp;nbsp;Real scones you can't do that. You have to use real high fat butter cold as ice. &amp;nbsp;Dough can barely be worked together, by hand only? Cold hands, cold marble boards I grate , or tiny cube cold butter , leave in fridge til ready. Blend in barely &amp;nbsp;roll, cut, bake. Also, most commercial bakery's don't use all real butter, and they add too much sugar. A real scone should taste like shortbread, buttery slightly moist, and flaky. With jam, or clotted cream. But it still isn't like cake &amp;nbsp; They just can't do that commercially. &amp;nbsp;I can see people being disappointed .&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I buy a lot of&amp;nbsp;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt; food items over internet. &amp;nbsp;I buy lox and split pea soup and chicken soup from Katz deli in NYC.,&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;nI order Banana Pudding and carrot cake from Magnolia Bakery,&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;&amp;nbsp;ordered from David's, and enjoyed what I bought , &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I have used MANNA ORGANICS for sprouted breads. &amp;nbsp;The real , keep refrigerated sprouted bread, &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I order my hard Pretzels from East Lake,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I repeatedly order from GoldBelly, Ina Gartens coconut cake, it's out go to gift,,,&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;and I always order my ice cream from McConnels&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;and my fish from Alaska, Great Alaskan Fish Co it is the best!&lt;BR /&gt;and when I want turkey products and a cooked turkey, organic or not,It's Diestel &amp;nbsp;in California &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;my point is all these places have stellar shipping and product. They all have insured product for heat and damage....but none has the easy, pick up the phone and get refund QVC has with their food promise.&lt;BR /&gt;I have never had problems, but one lost ice cream shipment, and mcconnells sent a new one asap. But most companies require forms, photos and such. &amp;nbsp;And they don't refund if you hate it lol. &amp;nbsp;QVC will. &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I have stuck with the above companies for years, I mean some 10 years or more as I have never had a bad purchase. &amp;nbsp;But I have found the supermarket here quit selling so many items we loved. I had to go online direct to the source. Also, by going direct you het coupons, sales discounts. Works for me anyway&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
