Hello, How come for the last two posts I have been immediately erased? I've been a member her for about 10 years. It is not my PC as it is less than 2 months old.

Either you wrote something that violated board standards or your subject was inappropriate. Have you read the standards? The mods don't answer questions about d3leted posts. Your tenure here has nothing to do with deletions.

I've had that happen a few times. Thought the first time that perhaps I never hit post. When it happened a few days later, I realized it was just one of the many idiosyncrasies of this message board.

It's happened to me a few times too. Having worked in and with IT many years, I think Q systems are archaic and have a lot of problems. This just might be one of those weird things that happens.

Sometimes when purging a thread of inappropriate and rule violating posts "innocent" adjacent posts get caught up in it.

It's happened to me before and is just the way it is. I don't take it personally as it's no big deal.

The alternative is to remove the entire thread.

The reason given was asking for personal information. That's against the Standards here. You should know that. I think that's the second time you've started a thread about that particular subject, and that was previously deleted as well.

@Bri369 I did not ask for any personal information last evening. I asked specifically that posters NOT provide personal information and explained that is what happened last year causing that thread to be closed. I only stated that I lived in the suburbs of Seattle; not the city I live in, nor would I expect others to have done so.❤️

It is quite possible that someone innocently shared too much info while I was away making tea. Posters sometimes share the state and CITY they live in; especially following a weather event, or other happenings in their lives.🤔🤷‍♀️ I really thought I had done it the correct way last evening, but I sometimes have issues processing information. I still think swapping QVC stories in person would be A LOT of fun; if it was permissable.😁

I would never deliberately do anything to jeopardize my enjoyment here, OR that of other Forum family members!😊 As I previously stated, I respect the process; always have! I read through the community guidlines and did not think it was in violation, but something obviously was. I respectfully accept that, and will be much more mindful moving forward!🥰

@spumoni99 By simply sharing the potential location of the meetup and date/time! I did not think that was considered personal information and, would certainly NEVER ask anyone for theirs. It would not have been necessary. No one would have needed to exchange personal information like their real names, phone numbers or their addresses, and I certainly did not ask them to.😊

I have been inspired ever since an esteemed poster who has been a member here for many years; you might say Forum royalty😁, shared last year that posters had meet-ups in years past, and that some of them formed lasting friendships! I now understand it is not going to happen and have abandoned the idea, but it would have been nice!❤️
