I do not think QVC staff have any opinion on what phrases the customers like or not....

"Like". Like this what he told me. I mean like that's so cool. So juvenile & high school.

"To go around". Why do they think that phrase is better than in inventory, in stock, available, to sell.

" High end boutique". I have rarely shopped at boutiques so don't care what they sell or what they consider high end.

"Oprah". Just because Oprah likes something doesn't mean I will. We all have our own individual taste.

"Obsessed" I'm obsessed with this purse/lipstick/top, etc., etc. If they were truly "obsessed" they should be committed--LOL!!

Elevate's been overdone.

A "whole nother" always bugs me...it's "a whole other", or "another"...though the whole nother has become "the norm" and totally acceptable....accept to my ears.

AmAAAAZZZinnnng!!! EVERY dang thing is AHMAZZZZIIING..."Only $102.00, down from 110?!" Amazzzzzing!!!! 🙄

Calling handbags, tops etc "she" ...ew. It's a flippin' handbag, people, not a person.

There is definitely more than one catch phrase that I don't like to hear. The one that comes to mind first, probably because I recently heard it again is "words you can't even pronounce" when hosts are selling clean beauty and referring to names of chemicals. Of course I and most of us can pronounce them. Are they assuming we are all idiots? I know that is not their intention but that's what it sounds like to me.

Shawn when presenting something on sale. She is being deceiving when comparing the full price to sale price. She will say "originally over $$ with tax and shipping and compares it to sale price without tax and shipping. She says that all the time. Why is she adding tax and shipping to the original price? Obviously to make it look like a better deal than it is. She should add her tax and shipping to the sale price for a fair comparison. Does she think we don't notice? Just a pet peeve of mine.

in addition, not every state taxes clothing.

I never notice which heading a post falls under, I guess because I don't look at the board that way, I click on "View All Forum Topics". So I guess my question is What does it matter which topic a post falls under? Just wondering, genuine curiosity.
