UPDATE

THE PROBLEM, was my billing address.

I had a similar problem a few minutes ago with Consumer Cellular. It was my billing address. Same billing address I've always used, The representative I spoke to went into my account and the billing address had been deleted, who knows why. Anyway she put my same billing address and bingo, my payment was accepted.

I Legally went back to my maiden name.

My credit union has also changed my name on my account, same account number.

I was assured all incoming debits will be honored.

A couple weeks ago I couldn't log onto the forums and was directed to call customer service, which I did. I could log into my account, but not the forums.

I was asked what year mom was born, My answer was incorrect. I joined 30 years ago and don't remember what I entered.
The next day I received an email from QVC stating all was good and I could now log into the forums.

A few days ago I tried to order blush, again I was directed to customer service.

I logged into my account and my debit card was no longer there.
I called customer service and was told my debit card was being flagged. My credit union says all is okay on their end.
I can only think since there was a name change and I didn't notify the Q is the reason it was flagged.

When whatever card you're using is flagged, it's not possible to update it on the Q. Customer service was great, but there is nothing they can do.

I went into my account early this morning and moved easy pay into my credit card.

By the way, this morning I received an email from QVC informing me an easy pay wasn't be honored and to log into my account and there will be a bright red box next to the easy pay which isn't being honored.

It was after the email that I went into my easy pay and moved everything to my credit card.

I've never had a card not being honored. I asked if this would lower my credit rating, no, it has to be turned into collections.

This is a heads up to those who may have changes to their bank or credit cards.

I avoided all name change problems when I got married by keeping my maiden name. No problems. Born with my name, will die with my name.

I thought about going back to my maiden name, but figured it would be a lot to be bothered with. I especially worried about getting lost in the system at work and Soc. sec. Plus changing all other things involved. It took me 4 years at work to have them change my ID for getting paid. By the time they changed it, I was getting divorced again.

@Alsace Gal I believe you need to make the change with Synchrony.

Like QVC, lots of companies offer a credit card, but whatever banking instituion also has their name on that card, that's who we consumers deal with.

When my first husband and I divorced I retook my maiden name. I married again 17 years later and kept my maiden name. No way was I going thru another name change.

I considered going back to my maiden name. I sat down and wrote a list of all the things that I needed to change. Once I got to 50 things with more to go, I said it was okay to keep my married name. The only thing I didn't want my married name on was my headstone, so I went to the monument sales place and had them put on my maiden name, birth date and the -, so all that needs to be added is the death date. That way, my daughter doesn't have to decide what name to put on there. I am being creamted and my ashes will be interred with my parents.

My name was hyphenated after I got married and it was just easier to use my married name on some things.

I changed my name back after the divorce and was so glad I did. It can be such a hassle for women with different things in different names.

Went to get a Real ID at DMV in NC and a senior couple came in for theirs. She couldn't get hers as she didn't have a copy of her marriage license............she was married over 30+ years ago in Tennessee and never kept a copy. .

I'm moving out of the country and that country doesn't change names once married. You're born and die with one name.

I'm a widow and to change back to my maiden name I had to file through a superior court, publish my name change for 4 weeks and then appear before a judge.

If you're divorced it's easier.

I never plan on going through a name change - no matter the situation is. Too much of a hassle.
