Storage locker?

Hi all,

Sent my elderly father two My Grandma's coffeecakes and USPS got the package from UPS. Tracking shows the package was delivered to a storage locker in my dad's zip code. I have no idea what this means or how my dad can get it. He is frail and housebound.

Suggestions, please.

@Seannie Has anyone checked outside your father's residence? Sometimes I get a notice the package was delivered to the door or garage, and it's in my neighbor's mailbox.

If you can't find it, you need to report it to My Grandma's. They will take it from there, and they should ship you a replacement or refund your money. Maybe you can get the replacement expedited so your father can have them this week.

It's been my experience that if the package is small and lightweight, UPS sends it to USPS for delivery. If you have a tracking number for UPS check their site to see if there is a USPS tracking number there as well. The USPS tracking number usually starts with a 9 and is a lot longer than the UPS number. If there is a USPS number, you can go to USPS tracking using their number to see what the delivery date is. @Seannie Does your dad live in an apartment where the mail boxes are all in a certain location? I think it means it was put in a larger mailbox in that area. He would need to open his mailbox to get the key for the larger box. This is my personal experience.

OP here. Thank you all for your replies. Apparently 3 inches of snow is enough to keep the mail off my dad's street. The package was just delivered minutes ago.

I'm so glad he got the package. You shouldn't have to jump through hoops to make sure your dad got it. By the way, I love Grandma's!
