I bought some Lindt chocolates in July on advance order for the holidays. They were (as told) a great buy for $65.

I see that the boc of 100 pieces is priced at $45.

The difference is 50 pieces more in the more pricey box. For 50 pieces it's @20 dollars more.

How is that? I want to believe I got a good deal.

Are you saying there were 150 pieces in the 65 dollar box and 100 in the 45 dollar one? In that case the higher priced box actually was like a cant and a half cheaper per piece so it's a better deal. 43.3 cents vs 45 cents.

Of course they don't worry, if the price goes up. That's just silly.

But I'm tired of QVC's pricing games. I just bought something in the past three weeks that was shown on air ... "brand new!" "First time we've seen this!"

And less than three weeks later it's $8 cheaper. Will I ask for a refund of the difference? No, because, of course, it's "clearance sale price".

If it were "sale price" I could get a refund, but that all important "clearance" disqualifies it under their new policies (apparently). How can something "brand new today!" go to clearance so fast?

Pricing games. There's no way to trust that you're getting the best deal from QVC any longer.

@Puzzle Piece I bought the 150 piece in a holiday box on June 23 (advanced order for December) for $49.98. I think it was a TSV for the early CIJ presentation. It's now being offered at $61.00. Perhaps, as @geezerette posted, there are different prices for different flavors.

One of the flavors in the 100 piece option is sea salt. That's a flavor I will not eat.

You can order directly from them. They often have special deals and you can choose your flavors.

I just checked my advance order. It is 150 pieces for $49.98. So that is a very good deal. I order it in June during the first Christmas in July sale.

I'm good with my 150 piece 49.98 price. They were .99 a piece in Joann this week. @Puzzle Piece The TSV price was 49.98. Not sure what the $65 price was.
