Got a flyer from the Q offering free shipping with code springlook24 from 2/26 to /3/31. Today 3/12 they decided to not honor the offer on sale items, however, that was not a stipulation on the original offer, and of course, customers were never advised. False advertising is now what we can expect from QVC. This company has been going downhill for quite a while now and we can see why. In this economy, we are all looking to spend our money with reliable companies. The Q is proving they are not one of them.

@noQ. Everyone is entitled to her opinion and mine is that in my experience of 30+ years, QVC has been extremely reliable. I don't think your issue has anything to do with reliability but it is standard policy in the industry.

I received the same spring fashion mailer with coupon. After reading your post I went through and read all the fine print and it doesn't say anything about sale items being excluded.

Without knowing all the circumstances, please call customer service or reach out to QVCSocialTeam@qvc.com. They will hopefully be able to provide insight into what went wrong! I have never had an issue that could not be resolved.😊

@noQ I trust you read the fine print thoroughly before posting? I know retailers reserve the right to make exclusions to sales, coupons etc. They all do it. Perhaps since the clearance price is already a markdown the free shipping would be a double dip so to speak. I guess it depends on how bad you wanted the item.

I have used it 4 times, and one order was for 2 items. All the clothes I bought were on sale, clearance, or lunchtime specials.

If they made that change, that is pretty lousy. I would contact the social team and see if they can help.

I have that flyer but haven't tried to use it because I can't find anything I want!!! I would only use it on "sale" items but I've gotten so many incentives from Blair, Appleseeds and Macy's, et al that saving s/h of $3.50 isn't much of an incentive for me.

@noQ You do realize it's only good for "apparel, accessories, footwear or jewelry" and not for household goods or electronics, etc.

I successfully used the free shipping code on a sale item less than three hours ago. You might reach out to socialteam@qvc.com with your experience; they may be able to help.

I used it on a lunchtime special with no problem, I will go try again to see what happens. The only stipulation I saw was that it had to be on fashion items.

Wow I just tried it on a lunchtime special and it didn't work, that is awful if they changed the rules. If I wanted to buy something I would definetely call.

I used mine on 2 pair of 'as is' Miz Mooz shoes.

I assumed I could use it on 2 more like items, but maybe not?

Yes, I agree. If it didn't cover sales, it should have been stated.

Sometimes, I get free shipping on sales items from other retailers. Macy's, Land's End, and Neiman Marcus, Horchow, for example.

The same thing happened to me today. I got on a chat with a customer service representative and was told that clearance, as is, etc. were excluded from the promotion, and that I should have read the terms of the coupon more carefully. I just read the fine print, and these exclusions were not listed. It's $3.50 S/H, but it's really the principle of the thing!
