Preparing order?

What’s up with it taking so long to prepare orders and get them shipped? I placed an order on November 14 and today is November 19 and the order still shows preparing order.

@CissyT Any answer you get from anyone who doesn't have access to actual company information would be a guess.

I just had an order arrive five days from the time I placed it. Again, no idea why it came a solid week before the estimate I got when I placed the order! I always check out carefully and slowly so I can cancel if I don't like what I see. I've been lucky though - all deliveries on or like the most recwnt before any date promised.

BTW, if I were to guess why some are slow - there are more jobs available than there are people to fill those jobs.

They're busy, probably lots of orders and lower staff that would be able to get your order out immediately.

Same with other retailers, sometimes it is 10 - 12 days until I receive a Talbot's order.

Five days to be preparing an order isn't out of line for QVC.

I just waited over a week for a Macy's order to ship. People should be able to conclude that the seasonal rush is on and everything, including transportation will be slower.

@CissyT same here November 4th now it's the 20th !! Still preparing status !! 😡

I have had trouble with Isaac's products.....they take over a week preparing to ship and some cosmetic products take longer.....I think most of the trouble is due to the product's originator.
