Advanced orders question

I always forget from year to year for Christmas items on advanced order , are they billed only once shipped not now ? Or do they process now , and then fall off of the credit card because they aren't shipped yet.

Hi @Kitty Galore when you place the order your credit card will be authorized and the authorization will fall off. Once the order is shipped it will be billed. I hope this helps.

The actual billing occurs when they ship. There may be a pre authorization now.

@Anonymous @Actually I'm referring to advanced orders . Know regular orders work the way you stated .

@Anonymous actually same question for waitlist ? Pre authorization for waitlist and advanced ? Or is it just to hold the item till the ship date begins ?

@Kachina624 I guess things have changed or maybe I've forgotten , but n the past waitlist never pre authorized until the item was ready to ship if and when it did become available . At that time the pre authorization would happen . I thought seeing that an advanced order which could be months from now should not even be pre authorized .

I use a Q card and do not worry about it. I have one advanced order that my husband wanted but for me I am not doing the Q for Christmas this year. Too many treats last year and I am the one who ends up eating too many. LOL

I was tempted yesterday on the Lindor truffles but passed. I will buy what I need locally and just not that many people to buy for and for those I do are all watching their sugar intake.

No pretzels, no cookies, no apples, no special treats or desserts. Time to get away from the Q and get back to the way I use to shop. Prices keep going up so buy what I need and not have extras going to waste.

I guess for me too early to think about the holidays right now. I usually start in October. Soon I will be helping the grandkids with school clothes. I'm focusing on having a good summer right now.

I ordered a few advanced items yesterday and they were not pre authorized. As in the past they will when they are ready to ship.
