taking forever to get what I ordered

QVC is getting ridiculous on processing orders. I ordered a purse over a week ago and it is still being processed. How can other places like Amazon and Zappos get their orders out in a matter of days and receiving it in a timely manner and QVC can't. If I can find what I want from another company I order it from there if it is only a few dollars more and a lot of times the other compaines include free shipping.

I agree about their shipping which is why I have scaled way back in my orders.

What is frustrating (for me) is that it sits either "in processing" or "packaging" for days on end. And if you don't cancel an order within a few hours, forget it. Sometimes, I have found that the system won't allow you to cancel.

At least their sister company down south gives you ample time to cancel and ships quicker.

I ordered something from HSN last Tuesday during their craft day event. It arrived this morning (Sunday).

I'm very frustrated. I ordered a shirt 9 days ago that is still processing. That is ridiculous. Do they even ship anymore? And there's nothing I can do about it!!!

Yes there is. Shop where you're pleased with shipping times.

Shipping varies from company to company. You can't compare apples to oranges. There are many reasons for the differences. You have to make a choice.

I've found it depends on what you order.

Two of my orders took a month to arrive.

I received four other orders in less than a week from the date I ordered.

All items were listed as "in stock" and were to be shipped immediately.

Maybe I can help a little bit? I think QVC has started shipping straight from vendors. I don't know that for sure, but if they are, then QVC and the customer are at the mercy of when the vendor wants to ship. I could be wrong. Does anyone have better info?

I have order I have been waiting on since 8/4. It still has not shipped. I could not cancel it last week but this week I see it says backordered now and I have the ability to cancel. I think I may cancel it. 46.00 is better in my pocket than QVC's at this point.

Whatever is wrong, it is unacceptable to me. I don't order something to see IF I will get it or when. Or if I can cancel if it doesn't ship for weeks.
