Never on HSN, that was always by midnight that same day. QVC used to be longer.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Whatever "policy is" I don't know because experiences are inconsistent. It's different now. And sometimes inconsistent.       <title>After 40+ years - I am done with QVC.</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I tried to cancel an expensive order within 12 HOURS of placing it.&amp;nbsp; There should be a mechanism for doing this that is no-hassle for customers.&amp;nbsp; Now I will be receiving the order "from the vendor" and will have to (1) pay to return it and (2) pay for insurance on the pakage.&amp;nbsp; ALL BECAUSE QVC IS NO LONGER CUSTOMER FRIENDLY.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Between all the "extended delivery" orders, the orders randomly cancelled, and now, the one that COULD NOT be cancelled, sorry, I am done.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I would think that after shopping with the Q for 40+ years you would be aware how cancellations work.&amp;nbsp; There is a short window when items placed can be cancelled, certainly not 12 hours.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

In the not so distant past, I've cancelled things the next day, sometimes a little longer than that. It's been shorter lately, I do know that, but less than 12 hours is really short. Shorter than other vendors I shop with...and some of those explain how long you have, which is helpful. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;This can all be frustrating, so I understand OP's frustration....it's a pain not to catch it, and have to go through the return process. &lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/98815"&gt;@DCee_at_QVC&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;Sometimes if you ask, and say you tried to cancel right away etc...they'll either try to catch it from the vendor (seldom gets caught, in my experience) or credit you the return fee.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Also frustrating and confounding is why returns are taking weeks to process?! I shop online with many other vendors...returns take anywhere from immediately (before they even recieve the return package!), to a day or two at the most! QVC's delayed return processing is just unacceptable. I don't get why they are the only ones that take this long.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Fellow shoppers, I have a question that may be helpful for the original poster.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you have to pay for added insurance on an expensive item if you use the Q return label?&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I would either refuse the item, or just return it with the Q label.&amp;nbsp; But especially since it's expensive, keep a copy of the label and get a receipt from the post office showing that they received it back.&amp;nbsp; If it gets lost, I would think it would be not her responsibility if she has a receipt with the tracking number.&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/98815"&gt;@DCee_at_QVC&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Twelve hours is a very long time to expect to cancel an order.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Macy's gives you 30 minutes.&amp;nbsp; Amazon's is pretty lenient but depends on the seller.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Things shipping directly from the vendor seem harder to cancel - anywhere.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

That's far longer and less "communicative" from every other vendor I shop with.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;And same with my other experience of cancellations...used to be able to do it a day later. Never on HSN, that was always by midnight that same day. QVC used to be longer.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Whatever "policy is" I don't know because experiences are inconsistent. It's different now. And sometimes inconsistent. And I only can speak from my own experiences.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;That's all.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Have a little mercy for the OP. She's angry and frustrated with the company for what she perceived as too little time to cancel her order. Haven't we all said things when we're angry and frustrated? (I have.)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As for the returns process, I do agree with the other poster who stated her frustrations over that. I've returned two things back to QVC recently--in May and early July. I had to get the social team involved both times to get my refunds. I was even charged the return fee (I didn't use the return label) in July for the return in May. I had to get the social team involved for that. Social team is great, by the way. Anyway, yeah, I can see how people are getting angry and frustrated. Not good for the company...&lt;/P&gt;</description>
