Why would you think HP would not fix it? I don't get that you think a third party would be working on it if it's an HP product.

When you buy a laptop for example from the Q, if you select to add the Allstate Protection Plan, if you ever need to use it, where does the item get repaired at? I'm assuming if you bought an HP laptop, it wouldn't be sent to HP to be repaired. This means a 3rd party is reparing it, that didn't make the machine, that makes me a bit nervous.

What is everyones thoughts on this subject? Is it worth it to buy this plan or should you skip it?

Under the service agreement, AllState will have, for example, a HP repaired by an authorised HP technician. I hope that helps!

In the example I used, HP would NOT be repairing it. Allstate is not HP, they are 3rd party offering warranty and repair services.
