      <description>&lt;P&gt;What is Advance Order? &amp;nbsp;I made 2 &amp;nbsp;purchases 6 days ago for a laptop on 5 easy payments along with a 3 yr service plan. &amp;nbsp;The service plan has been shipped but my laptop keeps saying Advance order. &amp;nbsp;It also gives me an &amp;nbsp;EDD. Can someone explain it to me please?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This happens a lot when an an item is being shipped directly from the manufacturer, especially electronics. &amp;nbsp;They are probably still making your laptop. &amp;nbsp;Too bad they don't always inform customers in advance of ordering the item.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/37356"&gt;@2blonde﻿&lt;/a&gt;I've never had an actual ADVANCE ORDER where I wasn't told in advance that the item was going to be quite delayed.&amp;nbsp; That's different from an order which is a few days late because the manufacturer is making fresh product and delivering it directly.&amp;nbsp; Hopefully, OP will get the right infoi from ther mods.&amp;nbsp; Sounds as if she is a new or newish customer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I know last spring I had an ADVANCE ORDER from Perricone which didn't ship for maybe 6 weeks -&amp;nbsp; but I knew when I ordered when it was supposed to ship and it did.&amp;nbsp; I could have canceled any time in between because I hadn't paid QVC anything, but I didn't because QVC's price was hundreds of dollars below every other retailer on that item!&amp;nbsp; Still is by the way.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
