I know, from some of your other posts, that you've been through a lot and your emotions are tender. So, while I want to say, "don't let a few push you away," I also understand how you feel. Whatever you choose, please be gentle with yourself. Many of us will miss you if you decide not to post here.

I'm dealing with a pretty bad migraine right now but decided to browse the forums and was so angered by what I saw on another thread... and then saw your post here... that I had to say something. There have been a couple of times I stepped away for a bit because of the way a few people chose to treat others on the forums. But I keep reminding myself that the vast majority of posters are not here to mock, ridicule, and have fun at the expense of a fellow poster. We are, after all, real human beings behind these sometimes-silly nicknames, and we have real feelings. You do have friends here. Take good care of yourself.❤️

As usual, our sweet @dooBdoo is right.

At one time or another I think a lot of us have felt like never posting here again after feeling that we were personally or unjustly 'attacked', I know I have.

That's when I take a couple of days off from the forums and let the 'hoopla' die down, it always does.

I try to remember that for every 'unkind' (putting it mildly, LOL!) poster here on the forums, there are so many more kind, caring and helpful posters here!

And those kind, caring, helpful posters would miss your presence here!

I don't post very often but I read a lot of posts by others. When I do decide to post, it's always with a little bit of trepidation because there are so many different personalities on these boards and sometimes, it's good to get different viewpoints, especially when you have a very small circle of people in your life (like I do), but there will always be those few who are more "prickly" than most, are just in a perpetually bad mood or have a chip on their shoulder and build themselves up by putting others down. I'm still working on trying not to let the remarks of those types get to me (I'm ultra sensitive) but it's a process. For the most part, I appreciate the posters who take the time to share their views and give their perspectives. I hope you'll stay because I think the wealth of knowledge and wisdom offered on these boards far outweigh the nasty comments. ((Hugs))
