I will never shop here again! A $34 item that didn't fit costs $12.95 to ship back. So I'm paying because it didn't fit. That's pathetic! Never ever shop on here again. Get your act together QVC.

The only place I shop with some free returns is Amazon and I pay an annual fee for Prime there. Do you know of someplace else?

I have never paid $12.95 to ship a return an item back .i see you are a new member to this forum , is this first purchace ?

Just off the top of my hear, Nordstrom, Dillards, Macys, Eddie Bauer, Talbots and you can return Kohl's online purchases for free in store.

You're paying to return an item you ordered that didn't fit. If you need another size or color they will exchange it for free; otherwise, you can ship it yourself if you just want to return it. It may be cheaper. You should familiarize yourself with the rules.

what in the world did you buy,that cost you 12.95 to ship back?I learned the hard way.always look at size chart,then if its still to small or to large,explain to customer service that you you went by size chart.they might give you a break on return fee

She probably means she bought something like shoes for $34, paid $5.50 shipping and they didn't fit even though it should have, then had to pay $6.95 to send back. Thus she lost more than $12. It has happeneded to me---ordering the same size shoe I always buy, but they didn't fit. I got tired of losing $12, so now I only order shoes from places with free returns like amazon, zappos, nordstrom etc.

I think she adding the original shipping of normally $5.50 and return fees of $6.95-10.95 depending on the item.

Why ? She had to pay to get it to her house and now has to pay for the return

However, WE shoppers need to get our act together and READ the policies BEFORE we order.... where everything is clearly spelled out.

I just placed my very first order ever with Dillards...I read every word.

Absolutely agree! It’s insane to pay that amount and have nothing. So many companies offer free shipping and free exchanges and qvc is behind on this policy. Even the companies who do charge for shipping offer it for free with a minimum purchase amount. Guess qvc has so many overhead costs that they simply cannot compete.

9 times out of 10 they don’t have the item you want to exchange for in stock so that claim of “free exchanges” is a joke! Tons of retailers offer free shipping and free returns. QVC has to make money to cover salaries of hosts, models, tv time, etc so they cannot be competitive in the market today. Someone needs to come up with changes to stay with the times!
