    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif" size="3"&gt;Add me to the Backorder Purgatory list. I ordered a pair of Earth Origins shoes on February 6. It went into "preparing your order" status for a couple of days then went to Backorder. &amp;nbsp;The item page shows that my color and size are indeed in stock. It has been in and out of backorder status 4 times since Monday. it is currently in process with a delivery date of 2/16., which is 2 days ago. I would attempt to cancel, but it's fun watching the status change back and forth. They are spring shoes so I'm not really in a hurry to get them. &amp;nbsp;I'll let everyone know if the shoes ever do ship.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yesterday, I ordered 2 pairs of Denim and Co jeans.&amp;nbsp; The order went through fine.&amp;nbsp; They were in&amp;nbsp; stock.&amp;nbsp; Today, my order status says they are on ''backorder'' - yet, when I check the same pants , as if to order them again, it ''still'' stays they are ''in stock''.&amp;nbsp; So what does ''backorder'' mean?&amp;nbsp; Is QVC trying to sell something that they really don't have?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It means they have a bad computer system and no clue what they have in inventory. &amp;nbsp;Or they got in a defective shipment and haven't removed that from inventory yet. &amp;nbsp;Or they THINK they will get some soon and can blame it on shipping problems. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I came to the boards to ask the same thing.&amp;nbsp; I placed an order on Friday and as of last night it was shill showing In process.&amp;nbsp; Today it is Backordered but still showing as n stock on the item page.&amp;nbsp; UGH I just need a new Umbrella already.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Order was in "preparing your order" status for about a week, then a few days ago I saw it changed to backorder and this morning I got an email saying from customer service saying the order is delayed. I have two other items I ordered this week that have gone to the "preparing your order" status and I'm concerned that they too will end up as backorders &lt;img id="smileysad" class="emoticon emoticon-smileysad" src="https://community.qvc.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.png" alt="Smiley Sad" title="Smiley Sad" /&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
