Inadequate Bill to Ship to for Businesses

For the Mrs. Prindables recent TSV, The hosts, and guest suggested using bill to /ship to, and sending the item to a variety of friends, family, associates and professionals.

I took them up on their suggestion, and am very disappointed in the bill to ship to process for sending to a business.

Firstly, I was not able to type my full first name and last name in the name field for myself, or to the recipient. It looks incredibly unprofessional to have to string the first and last name together in the name field. Secondly, in the gift message section, it said I had 60 characters, but it would only let me type out a few words.

When I called customer service about this, the representative said it was actually a much smaller number of characters that you have to type in a message.

Thirdly, in the address field, it does not allow you to note that it is a business, so I could not put the full name of the business.

Also, when I called customer service a second time, I asked where I could read the message that I had typed, and they said I couldn't see it on my account, but that they could see it on their end and they repeated it back to me. I asked them how the delivery company, would know it was a business, and they said they could tell by the address. Now, the business I am sending it to you is only open on Saturdays until 12:30, So if it gets delivered after that, it will probably spoil as they will not get it until the following Monday.

if QVC cannot accommodate shipping to businesses, they should not advertise that on their programs for Bill to/Ship To

@ShoppingFan5 QVC has never worked out for sending to businesses. I would use Costco, Wine Country or Harry and David. Or, you can ship directly from Mrs Prindables.

i send to business addresses and have not had any major issues. have sent mrs prindables, cheryls cookies, squirrel brand, and more. i do sometimes send it to a person with the business on the second line of the address area.

@PA Mom-mom Thanks for mentioning the web site for Mrs Prindibles. While wanting to try them for awhile I never bought from QVC because there offerings were to large. The site offers one or two apples in two different sizes so I will be ordering for myself.

Even if you get it to work........you could be in for more problems. Beware

Just happened to me too...not enough room for full address - so I went to instant chat and QVC rep did it for me at her office.

However, that led to an item I ordered for myself - instead went to GA - Q's computer made GA as the DEFAULT ship to address.....

#3 Still more - I had a hard time getting the DEFAULT changed back to me and almost had a second item (to be shipped to me) headed for GA.

I would never have anything from QVC shipped to a company.

Suggestion: buy a gift that won't rot and sit in on a Receiving Dock.
