As I understood it then, "in process" comes before "preparing your order." That is the last step before your order ships.

You may not get it. I had an item that six times kept going into preparing and then returned to backorder status. Called QVC and the Customer Service Rep. said he would send an email to the warehouse. Do not know whether he did or not but know that at some point the item was canceled by them. Now, the same thing has happened again. It will say preparing for shipment and then go to Backorder status. Hope you experience better luck. I am nearly giving up.

I placed three orders over the past three days. Two said "in process" and one said "preparing your order". Will see how long "preparing your order" takes to ship. One "in process" shipped today.

I remember a Thread that mentioned "refund issued". That shows up when I go to order status but in a few seconds it goes away. What''s up with that?

I noticed I have several orders In process sitting. I changed an order to a different color and now it looks like I an getting a duplicate order. The other didn't get canceled just changed and added another set to it. I will have to return an item that had free shipping but I am sure won't be free going back. I may keep and exchange for different co!or and save for gifts for my friends. Pop sonic mirrors. Too late to change.

Good idea to be ordering gifts early and don't know what a person is going to run into.

I guess if I don't get I don't get.

I have an order that has continued to indicated "preparing your order" for 7 days now. The usps delivered this order yesterday to my surprise. I will call Customer Service to be sure I do not get a duplicate. Very strange.

Above and beyond that matter, it is a pair of Skecher shoes that are defective and I need to return. Maybe this is just part of the typical issues with QVC website for so many years now. This is a real shame considering the bulk of customers that shop with QVC.

The new status labels are confusing and don't really make sense. The moderators have confirmed that your order now goes to "In Process" as soon as it is placed, and the next phase is "Preparing Your Order," when it is actually getting ready to leave the warehouse or vendor site. However, during the past couple of weeks when these new status steps have been in effect, I've had a few orders go back and forth between the "In Process" and "Preparing Your Order" statuses multiple times, which makes even less sense.

Fortunately, I haven't had any orders delayed or changed to "Backorder" like many have posted about in these forums, so I just wait until "Shipped" shows and know that my order is finally on its way and I can monitor its progress in an actual tracking system.

I'm dealing with that. I've had my TSV ordered the day it came out March 17, 2021. It has gone from "in process" to "preparing your order" to "backordered" several times. I have watched the pending charge go on my bank card immediately as is always the case and eventually disappear. I had hope I was going to get the item when it reappeared on my bank card to "pending" again, but alas, within a day, it fell off my bank the 2nd time and is sitting at "preparing your order" for several days now. Something is not well done with QVC's ordering system online for this to happen.
