Please explain how to return a QVC gift

How does a gift recipient retrun a QVC item? I have purchased several Christmas gifts from QVC and I will be delivering them Christmas day. I live in another state & I would like to know how a gift recipient can return a QVC item for another item or a refund of the cost. Thank you for your help

On the return info section one of the questions "is this a gift"- then it asks how you want refund handled "gift recipient" (I assume they get credit minus shipping fees).

@teachergal I am sorry we haven't responded sooner. If you have a recipient that wishes to return a gift and they do not have an account we will open an account for them and the refund will be issued in credits so they may choose another item. If they do not wish to open an account the return will go back to the purchaser credit card.

@teachergal Seeing as how they can only get QVC credit, I would rethink buying gifts from QVC for anyone now.

@teachergal Seeing as how they can only get QVC credit, I would rethink buying gifts from QVC for anyone now.

Also, the receipant may not want the Q to open up an account for them as stated in the response. I will not be sending any gifts from QVC for those reasons.

@Susan-QVC - Just to clarify, if the recipient would like to simply exchange a gift for a different size or color, can they just complete the return slip and send it to QVC along with the item? Or will they need to call customer service and go through the process you described of opening a new account and setting up the exchange that way?

The gift recipient can easily return or exchange their QVC item within 30 days of receiving it. They just need the packing slip or order number to print a free return label online or find one included in the packaging. They can choose a refund, credit, or exchange for a different size/color. For specific instructions or help with personalized items, food, or gift cards, call QVC customer service at 888-345-5788. Happy gifting!
