I have never been so dissapointed about the delivery service then I have been lately. It took 2 weeks to get my Tarte order. It sat in Pensylvania for 3 days:New Jersey 2 days; Illinois for 2 days and 1 day in Wisconsin. This UPS Innovations is failing . I noticed once the USPS got a hold of it, it moved twice in 6 hours.

I have been waiting for another package to move. It has been in Pennsylvia since the 7 th. I was suppose to have gotton it on Friday. I will be lucky if I get it by Saturday. QVC can't blame the virus because I have had packages arrive in March, April, May and June within a week.

QVC needs to use the Post Office like Amazon does. I get my packages so quickly. They movie packages quickly and deliver 7 days a week.

UPS Mail Innovations?

Hi all...I've only been shopping regularly with QVC for a year or so. Is the UPS Mail Innovation shipping method something new this year? I have found that when it goes through UPS directly, I get my items within days. Shipping via UPS Mail Innovations is excrutiatingly long! Sometimes even going way out of the way, sitting somewhere for days on end before it gets to me. I have been patient considering our current situation with the pandemic, but it seems other online retailers have gotten back on track so I now know it's a QVC issue now. Obviously they are using it to save money. So have they always used this and just have problems with it recently - or is this a new way to ship for them?

I'm asking a question and not just venting about the shipping times. I do not need someone to rudely tell me to shop elsewhere. I like shopping QVC and hope that all of these posts regarding shipping (and returns) get passed along to the powers that be who make these decisions. I am sure they are losing a lot of customers due to this, right?

I have received packages via UPS mail innovations pre-Covid and once shipped by the Q they did not take as long as they do now. In addition to the Covid impact, the Q has also been in the midst of opening a new warehouse in Bethlehem and closing other warehouses which seems to have affected the shipping. I read an article online that they believe the warehouse transition will be complete by the end of the third quarter of this year and it is supposed to decrease shipping time.

@mimy13 It's rather shocking to look at the Customer Care forum and see the vast number of threads about shipping issues. QVC has a history of picking a path and sticking with it no matter the volume of critical customer feedback and it seems this is yet another vintage QVC move, since they seem sort of committed to doing nothing meaningful in the short-term about these issues.

I started a thread last week about this Mail Innovations nonsense. I noted then I'm not inordinately impatient to receive packages, but when you see a pair of reading glasses start out in Virginia and end up in New Jersey only to find their way back to the customer in Virginia, it makes no sense. The delivery time was't grossly unacceptable but it does seem unnecessary, as does the still yet to be delivered skirt ordered June 30th, with a now missed EDD of July 8th that appears to have spent six days vacationing around various points in New Jersey... The item was apparently 'accepted' at a local post office yesterday, so one might hope, now that the hand-off has taken place, it'll arrive at some point in the not too distant future.

The norm for me to receive a shipment from QVC used to be about a week, often less and occasionally more. They still sometime surprise me with quick shipping, but increasingly it seems that at least ten days to two weeks is going to be the norm and that's just so unnecessary. The only thing I can think is they're saving a bundle using a sub-par delivery method. They've been using Mail Innovations for a while, it seems, and the only option we seem to have is to select a different delivery method, when one is offered, and to pay more for it. Personally, I'm not often going to do that. One already over-pays for shipping here, so I'm going to have to really want something badly and want quick delivery badly as well... Instead, my QVC orders will be increasingly limited, even more so than they've already become, for a variety of reasons.

Once again, not always the fault of QVC - as I stated on an earlier tread, my package was scanned by the P.O four times and it is the size of a very small deli (the P.O not the package) - so they just kept handing it off to the next person - and it was not delivered to me for another three days.

The Post Office scoffed and said they knew nothing about the various scannings and delay in delivering - and I live about a three minute walk from the P.O.

Delivery delays are not always the fault of the Mail Innovations aspect or the USPS. It's also UPS itself.

I just got off the phone with a customer rep from a company that I've been doing business with for over twenty years. They always have been competent and go out of their way to resolve the few problems I've had. In this case, my expensive perishable order was shipped UPS 2nd Air. It was delayed for days and now won't be delivered to me for a full week.

The customer rep told me that this is happening constantly now with UPS. Order after order is being delayed, even if they're shipping to a city just a few miles away.

The problem the businesses are having is that UPS is using the virus as an excuse for every delay so that they don't have to reimburse the company for not getting the orders delivered on time. It's costing the businesses a lot of money, not to mention the irate customers that aren't getting their orders in a timely manner.

On one hand, I feel for UPS. They have to try to deal with the virus problems like every other company, while at the same time they're getting a surge in business. A double edged sword for sure. But by now, I would have thought they could have come up with a better way to deal with the problem.

And that was creepy because why are they returning it when it was never delivered?Did they open the package to attach the return label?

QVC used to offer the option of USPS or UPS. That stopped quite a while ago and it is really frustrating. UPS Mail Innovations is obviously the brainchild of an employee with too much time on his hands. It doesn't expedite anything in my experience. Maybe if enough of us inform QVC of our desire to bring back UPS as an option they will consider it.

Mail Innovations are the worst delivery service I have ever encountered. Count on a month for delivery.

To date, I still find UPS most reliable, though I am waiting patiently for a delivery from the west that was supposed to have arrived today and tracking is saying virtually nothing other than 'on its way'. Fingers crossed. That said, if we want to get into the service I've found most consistently disappointing, at best, I need look no further than Fedex. If I know up front that a retailer is using them I often will just not order. That's how much I dislike them and how ineffective, inefficient and sometimes downright dishonest I find them. While it's true that not all delays are QVC's 'fault', if their choice is to select and stick with a delivery company they know consistently gives their customer's a pain in the neck, well then, that is their fault.

Just an example of how lame this system is... As mentioned, I ordered a piece of clothing from QVC on June 30 with an EDD of 7/8... The item, for which I paid shipping, was shipped USPS via Mail Innovations (meaning Innovations will hand it off, like a relay race, to the postal service for the final leg of the long, long journey, you know from Pennsylvania to New Jersey and now back to Virginia...), and has floated around on the east coast since then and I still don't have the item... It supposedly arrived at the local PO yesterday, but it's still not here... Meanwhile, I ordered another item that I'll also point out shipped free from a company out on that other coast on the July 4th holiday. It shipped via regular UPS the following Monday and I received it, all the way across country, today... See Q, it CAN be done...

I can understand why you thought it might be new. I was aware of it but it was rarely used for my purchases. I'm in NC - maybe it has to do with where we all live - IDK - but just in the last couple of weeks everything has been sent to me via UPS Mail Innovations. So, now I have 2 things that have been sitting about a 100 miles away in Fayetteville, NC for the last 4 days ... haven't moved. (sigh)
