No Joan Rivers eggs this year??

I heard a horrible rumor. Are there not going to be any new Joan Rivers Russian egg ornaments this year??! I heard the Q declined this year’s designs. Please tell me this isn’t true. I’ve been collecting them for years. They are one of the few beautiful, quality, special Christmas decor items offered year after year.

Since I have been collecting Faberge egg ornaments over the years, I followed Joan's closely. They haven't been selling well. Her 2018 were marked down around 50%. The large harvest egg, as well. Not selling despite the markdown.

I was surprised her egg necklace didn't sell out after one or two airings. It's gorgeous, very well made, a hand down piece.

@Foxxee I have the egg necklace too. I missed a couple parts to it but mine is gigantic in length. I haven't worn any part of it for a little while. But I love it. I am Romanian and wrote a note years ago to Joan telling her I should get that necklace someday. Darn I didn't receive it. Oh well. I love her eggs and bees. And all the old jewelry.

It's definitely true. People have been collecting them for years. Wish I could see the 2019 prototype QVC rejected. Bet they were nice.

I wonder if it's because she is no longer here to oversee the designs? As much as I loved her and her line I think someday it will go by the wayside. David does a great job and I believe Melissa owns the company now? We'll see, I wish them the best and I really miss Joan

I agree with you. As much as I enjoy David Dangle, I really miss Joan. And I too think the line will someday go by the wayside.
